Today I bring to you How i made an hair band for myself.
Recently i have tried has much as possible not to trash some leftover fabrics
I remember vividly that before i joined hives
I used to trash alot of left over fabrics.
But this community has taught me alot and i personally know now that i can recycled anything i need to for something useful.
So i had the pieces of fabric i like,i don't really know why i kept it for so long but i decided to make use of it today and i am pretty glad to share what i did after school.
Below are the things i used for the hairband
- Old piece of fabric
- Scissors
- Thread and needle
- Measuring tape
Steps taken:
I started by cutting out the piece of fabric to my desirable shape.
I made a long rectangle shape and i used a measuring tape to mark out the inches i needed.
After marking out the inches i trimmed off the excess part of it.
I had already taken the measurements of the circumference of my head and i used that in creating this hair band.
Thereafter,i got my hand needle and thread and i started sewing it through the vertical line.
I sew from one end to the other.
Next point: After i had finished sewing,i pulled out the right side of the fabric
And i joined the tips together and i sew.

Therafter my hairband was ready and i added a flower to the side to make it more attractive.
