BALLS FOR DAD.
Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien. He pasado toda la noche despierta. Apenas dormí unas dos o tres horas 💤 porque empezó a llover e hizo frío bastante, tanto que tuve que sacar mi edredón para arroparme. El resto de la noche la pasé tejiendo y escuchando música instrumental.
La verdad es que hace tiempo que no tejía de estos baloncitos y ya que se acerca el día del padre me provocó hacerlos mientras estaba en vela. Desde algún tiempo he puesto en práctica ocuparme de algo en estas noches de insomnio, es buena estrategia porque si me ataca el sueño en el día al menos he adelantado algo de lo planificado.
Hello friends, I hope you are very well. I've been up all night. I barely slept for about two or three hours 💤 because it started to rain and it got quite cold, so much so that I had to pull out my comforter to tuck myself in. The rest of the night was spent knitting and listening to instrumental music.
The truth is that I haven't knitted these little balls in a long time and since Father's Day is coming up, it made me want to make them while I was awake. For some time now I have put into practice to do something during these sleepless nights, it is a good strategy because if sleep attacks me during the day at least I have advanced something of what I have planned.

⚽ Empecé a tejer como a las 10 pm cuando me di cuenta que no podría dormir. Busqué mis hilos y puse manos a la obra. Sin prisa porque sabía que la noche sería larga.
Usé los siguientes materiales:
- Hilo pabilo color blanco.
- Hilo acrílico color negro.
- Agujas de crochet de 2,25mm y de 1,60mm.
- Algodón para rellenar.
- Tijeras.
- Aguja lanera.
- Aro y cadena para llaveros.
- Pegamento. (Opcional)
⚽ I started knitting at about 10 pm when I realized I wouldn't be able to sleep. I looked for my yarns and got to work. Not in a hurry because I knew the night would be long.
I used the following materials:
- White colored wick yarn.
- Black acrylic yarn.
- Crochet needles of 2,25mm and 1,60mm.
- Cotton for stuffing.
- Scissors.
- Wool needle.
- Ring and chain for key chains.
- Glue (optional)

⚽ Lo primero que tejí fueron los balones. El tejido es básico del crochet. Solo debes tejer una esfera perfecta o hacer todo lo posible por que quede redonda. Inicias desde 6pb en anillo mágico, haciendo aumentos hasta la vuelta de 3pb-1aum. Luego tejes cinco vueltas sin aumentos. Después inician las disminuciones desde 3p-1dism hasta cerrar totalmente la esfera, sin olvidar colocar el relleno.
⚽ Luego tejí 24 círculos con el hilo color negro y la aguja de 1,60mm. Cada esfera o balón requiere de 12 círculos de estos. Como hice dos balones entonces tejí 24 círculos iguales. Inicié desde 5pb en anillo mágico. Luego 5 aumentos. Después 1pb-1aum y así finalicé el tejido. Se esconde bien la hebra luego de cortar.
⚽ The first thing I knitted were the balls. The knitting is basic crochet. You just knit a perfect sphere or do your best to make it round. You start from 6pb in magic ring, making increases until the round of 3pb-1aum. Then you knit five rows without increases. Then you start decreases from 3p-1dism until the sphere is completely closed, without forgetting to place the filling.
⚽ Then I knit 24 circles with the black yarn and the 1.60mm needle. Each sphere or ball requires 12 of these circles. Since I made two balloons then I knit 24 equal circles. I started from 5pb in magic ring. Then 5 increases. Then 1pb-1aum and so I finished the knitting. The yarn is well hidden after cutting.

⚽ Cada uno de estos círculos los organicé sobre los balones. 12 círculos para cada balón. El primer círculo lo fijé arriba de la esfera y aproveché de coser un eslabón de la cadena del llavero para fijarlo de una vez. Para coser usé el hilo acrílico negro y la aguja lanera.
⚽ Each of these circles I arranged on the balls. 12 circles for each ball. I fixed the first circle on top of the ball and took the opportunity to sew a link of the keychain chain to fix it at once. For sewing I used the black acrylic thread and the wool needle.

⚽ Después de fijar el primer círculo acomodé cinco más a tres vueltas del inicio y las cosí. Después acomodé las otras cinco posicionándolas en medio de las primeras cinco que cosi. Y el último círculo lo cosí en el extremo inferior de la esfera.
⚽ Por último tracé con el hilo negro acrílico las rayas de un circulo a otro tal como vez en el resultado final de mi proyecto.
After attaching the first circle, I placed five more circles three laps from the beginning and sewed them together, then placed the other five circles in the middle of the first five I sewed. Then I placed the other five circles in the middle of the first five that I sewed, and the last circle I sewed at the lower end of the sphere.
Finally I traced with the black acrylic thread the stripes from one circle to another as you can see in the final result of my project.
