Me da gusto volver a pasar por aquí, he estado ausente en cuanto publicaciones y tutoriales largos, sin embargo siempre que puedo paso, los leo y aprecio sus contenidos. En estos días había estado organizando mi casa y adaptándola a la nueva condición de enfermedad de mi hijo, ambos necesitamos comodidades para reducir la fatiga del día a día. Ya andamos menos agetreados y por ello me he dedicado a organizar algunas fotos y videos que fui guardando de algunos procesos de tejido que realicé. Espero poder estar más activa a partir de ahora y deseo enormemente que el #hive se eleve hasta las nubes porque estoy como en el 2018 cuando llegué, muy necesitada de sus recompensas 🤗 Les deseo muchísimo éxito a todos, especialmente a los inversores nuevos y a los curadores. ¡No me olviden!
Hello friends from the #diy community on Hive. I'm happy to be back here again. I've been absent in terms of posts and long tutorials, but whenever I can, I stop by, read them, and appreciate their content. These days, I've been organizing my house and adapting it to my son's new condition. We both need comforts to reduce our daily fatigue. We are less busy now, so I have been organizing some photos and videos that I saved from some knitting projects I did. I hope to be more active from now on, and I really want #hive to soar to the clouds because I feel like I did in 2018 when I arrived, in dire need of its rewards 🤗 I wish you all much success, especially new investors and curators. FLOWER TAILS 💐
💐 Para esta manualidad que les voy a presentar el día de hoy necesitamos muy poco material. Estas flores las tejí con un hilo de estambre que me quedó de un proyecto que realicé hace algún tiempo. Allá en Argentina no podía gastar dinero en hilos así que solo trabajé con los sobrantes que me llevé de Venezuela. Siempre trato de aprovechar al máximo cada trozo de hilo, los precios son bastante elevados en todas partes y por eso no hay que desperdiciar nada. Usé los siguientes materiales:
- Flores elaboradas con estambre escolar (sobrantes)
- Aguja de coser.
- Hilo de coser.
- Tijeras.
- Pistola para silicón caliente.
- Media barra de silicón.
- Colitas o ligas elásticas.
💐 For this craft that I am going to show you today, we need very few materials. I knitted these flowers with some yarn that I had left over from a project I did some time ago. Back in Argentina, I couldn't afford to buy yarn, so I just worked with the leftovers I brought with me from Venezuela. I always try to make the most of every piece of yarn, as prices are quite high everywhere, so it's important not to waste anything. I used the following materials:
- Flowers made with school yarn (leftovers)
- Sewing needle.
- Sewing thread.
- Scissors.
- Hot glue gun.
- Half a stick of hot glue.
- Hair ties or elastic bands.
Siempre me gustó tejer flores. Soy fanática de usarlas como aplique o accesorios en otros trabajos. Cuando comencé en hive mostré varios tutoriales de cómo aprovechar las mínimas sobras para tejer flores y mariposas y los diferentes usos que podemos darles. Cada retacito de hilo que va sobrando lo guardo y tejo flores de cualquier modelo sencillo, la idea es que se pueda tejer algo con esa cantidad disponible. Así fue que tejo estas flores. Me quedaron dos incompletas porque el sobrante no me alcanzó, quizá las desteja y las haga más chicas o espere comprar un poco más de hilo.
I have always enjoyed knitting flowers. I love using them as appliqués or accessories in other projects. When I started at hive, I shared several tutorials on how to use even the smallest scraps of yarn to knit flowers and butterflies and the different ways we can use them. I save every little scrap of yarn I have left over and crochet simple flowers. The idea is that you can crochet something with whatever you have available. That's how I crocheted these flowers. I ended up with two incomplete ones because I didn't have enough leftover yarn. Maybe I'll unravel them and make them smaller, or wait until I can buy some more yarn.
💐 Con estas flores realicé unas colitas para el cabello de las niñas. Los tonos son muy cálidos porque es un rosado pálido muy bonito. Ojalá que alguna mamá de mi comunidad las esté necesitando y me las compre, voy a dejarlas a muy bien precio porque son pocas y no gasté mucho material.
- Una vez que tengo todo los materiales al alcance empecé a coser las flores a las colitas o ligas elásticas. Es un proceso sencillo, las cosí con hilo de coser de color verde 🌿. Todas tienen hojas verdes y por ello elegí ese color para coser. Aquí les muestro parte del proceso de la costura. Se hacen muy rápido las flores 💐 y unirlas también es fácil. En este tiempo de elaboración mi hijo me acompañó un rato. Él está descansando mucho su cerebro 🧠 porque de eso, su rehabilitación física y cognitiva depende su sanación.
💐 I used these flowers to make hair clips for girls. The colors are very warm because it is a very pretty pale pink. I hope that some moms in my community need them and buy them from me. I am going to sell them at a very good price because there are only a few and I didn't use much material.
- Once I had all the materials I needed, I started sewing the flowers onto the hair ties or elastic bands. It's a simple process; I sewed them on with green thread. They all have green leaves, so I chose that color for sewing. Here I show you part of the sewing process. The flowers are very quick to make 💐 and joining them together is also easy. My son joined me for a while during this part of the process. He is resting his brain a lot 🧠 because his physical and cognitive rehabilitation depends on it for his healing.
- Después de coser la flor en la liga lo que hice fue poner un punto de silicón en cada punta de las hojas para asegurarlas y para que tengan más visualización. Me encanta el resultado final. Espero que está idea les inspire y comiencen a crear.
- After sewing the flower onto the garter, I put a dot of silicone on each tip of the leaves to secure them and make them more visible. I love the final result. I hope this idea inspires you and gets you started on your own creations.
