DIY Wall Hanging Using a Pizza Box
Hello friends, warm wishes to all of you! Today, I am excited to share a creative craft idea using an old pizza box, colored paper, and decorative beads. Let’s turn something as simple as a pizza box into a beautiful wall-hanging decoration piece.
Materials Needed:
An empty pizza box
Black paper
White paper
Scissors
Glue
Decorative beads
String for hanging
Step-by-Step process
Prepare the Pizza Box
Cut out the top portion of the pizza box and set it aside.
Cover the cut-out piece with black paper, ensuring a smooth surface.
Create Flowers
Take a 3x3 inch square piece of white paper. Fold it three times to create a smaller triangle.
Cut the open edge of the paper into a petal shape, and make small cuts at the top.
When you unfold it, you’ll have a circular flower shape. Make three such flowers.
Add Flower Centers
Take a 5x5 inch square of white paper. Cut it into a circular strip, about 1-inch thick, and give it petal-like edges.
Fold the strip in pleats to give it a textured look, then glue it at the center of each flower.
Make Leaves
Cut nine leaf shapes out of white paper.
Fold each leaf lengthwise down the middle and add small pleats on the sides for texture. When opened, the leaves will have a natural shape.
Assemble the Design
Arrange the flowers and leaves on the black-covered pizza box piece.
Glue them in place, creating a visually appealing layout.
Add Beads and Finishing Touches
Glue decorative beads along the edges of the pizza box piece for a polished look.
Attach a string to the back of the pizza box to create a loop for hanging.
Final Product
Your beautiful, handcrafted wall-hanging decoration is now ready! It’s an easy and fun way to recycle materials while adding a personal touch to your home décor.
