Hlo, hy ,namaste to all hive users reaching this post,hope doing great. I am back with an aipan art today , uttarakhand is famous for its aipan art also , mostly Kumaon region. It is made in any special occasion such like wedding, naming ceremony,etc (people offen do it for there hobby or intrest also ). It is designed in deli ( entering of a door ,in the floor). So ,you would be thinking is there anything special or I am also doing it as an hobby. So its answer is that there is something special in my house 🤫. Its my brother's janeu sanskar ( scared thread ceremony) , we are not inviting much people in it ,only our close family members only .But yaa its a part of rituial. We could buy and paste sticker of this aipan ,but I decided to do it by myself because I like doing these stuffs.
We have many deli's in our house ,so i will be sharing all of them with you.
So, this was my 1 st one which took me a lot of time ( cuzz I took a very thin design, which was easy to make but time consuming).
But was satisfied with the result 😊,as it consisted of all my hardwork 😂.
So, here are some pictures of it .
Firstly I painted the deli with red paint with complete measurement and let it dry for almost 7-8 hours,so that it doesn't remains sticky .
Then I took the measurements for the border and middle part with scale ,I choose a design and started making the border then.
Then I divided the middle part also in 2 parts for the design.
And started make pattern in one half , as shown . Made a circle in between for the foot of goddess Lakshmi.
This part consumed the most time 🥲.At this point I thought it is going to be look messy .
But completing this I started making the other border.
Then with same process complete the middle half.
And at last made foot of goddess Lakshmi.
Here ,its completed
So ,thats all I wanted to share today.
