Hello, Hive family, I hope you’re all doing well. As we start this new week, I’d like to show you this jumper design I made for my mum. It’s a simple jumper to make, very basic, yet at the same time it offers comfort, warmth and a smart look, depending on the occasion.

Hola familia de Hive, espero que se encuentren muy bien. En esta nueva semana que inicia quiero mostrarles este diseño de suéter que le hice a mi mamá. Es un suéter sencillo de hacer, muy básico pero que al mismo tiempo brinda comodidad, seguridad y formalidad según el caso que requiera.

Materials - Materiales

• 1 metre of Ribb fabric

• Fuchsia-coloured thread

• 1 metro de tela Ribb

• Hilo color Fucsia

Step By Step - Paso a Paso

Starting from the base of the front panels, the sleeves and the trims: the trim for the cuff, the trim sewn onto the neckline, and the bottom trim of the jumper.

Desde la base de las piezas delanteras, las mangas y las cintas, cinta para hacer la pieza de la muñequera, la cinta que va cosida en el cuello y la cinta baja del sueter.

Next, we need to sew the sleeves in place at the underarm, using the basting stitches to ensure a neat finish!

Luego debemos coser las mangas justo en la zona de la sisa y nos ayudamos con los afileres para tener un bonito acabado!

We then proceed to sew the binding tape to the bottom of the jumper; this tape should be 3 centimetres shorter than the total diameter of the jumper.

Luego procedemos a coser la cinta de costura en la parte baja del sueter, esta cinta debe ser 3 centímetros menores al diámetro total del sueter.

Next, we need to sew the neckline using a strip of the same fabric, and we also sew the sleeves to achieve a better finish.

Luego debemos coser la zona del cuello con una cinta de la misma tela y también cosemos la zona de las mangas para tener un mejor resultado.
