How are you all doing, friends? I hope you’re all doing well! I’m delighted to be here and to share with you this quick and easy sewing project I made for my niece using just half a metre of fabric, some elastic and a small strip of white fabric for the waistband. I hope you like it!

First, make two identical pieces for the design; as you can see, this is the quickest and easiest way to make overalls. What we need to do is sew the ends of the fabric together, right sides facing, from the top down to the point where the curve or the corner of the piece meets.

Once you have sewn the corner of the top of the pieces together, you need to align the edges and sew from the crotch area to the bottom of the trouser leg.

Next, we need to sew the facing in place using a strip of white fabric that we will need to make.

Next, we sew the lining of the boots in place, using pins to help guide the stitching. I also inserted an elastic band at the top of the boot and then sewed the opening closed.
