Cómo están ? Yo muy bien! Esta semana me entregaron las notas de los exámenes de la semana pasada y salí suuuuper bien y estoy contenta por eso, y ojalá que ustedes estén muy bien también. Yo hoy les quiero enseñar otra shadow box que hice pero de la Jeongvely que es la caricatura o peluche que representa a Jeongyeon, una de las cantantes de Twice que es uno de mis grupos de k-pop favoritos.
Esta shadow box no la hice con impresiones como la otra que hice de las Twice, sino que la pinté yo misma, y no quedó perfecto, pero igual me gusta porque es algo que hice yo misma para mi cuarto y como me gustó cómo quedó le quise hacer la shadow box con cartulina blanca y se ve bien lindo.

Ahora el paso a paso
Bueno, lo primero que yo hice fue el dibujo pero yo no tomé ni una foto de eso porque no sabía si quedaba bien o no, pero si hago de otra de mis bias de ese grupo les enseño el paso a paso.
Después que hice el dibujo me puse hacer el marco que lo hice con cartulina escolar blanca porque para se dobla fácil y es más fácil para mi hacerla, y lo primero que hice fue marcar en la parte de abajo 5 espacios de un centímetro de ancho cada uno y lo hice largo porque no sabía bien de que tamaño lo iba a necesitar.
Después hice eso mismo del lado derecho y ahí agarré el dibujo de la Jeongvely y marqué en la cartulina para hacer los 5 espacios de arriba y los de la izquierda.
Después de terminar de marcar corté lo que iba a necesitar y en las esquinas corté lo que se ve en la foto, que son unos cuadrados de 4 espacios de lado y lado y eso lo hice con las 4 esquinas y luego en los lados se hacen las marquitas que están en las fotos, y tienen que contar de afuera para adentro 3 cuadritos y en el del medio marcan un centímetro y lo cortan y después cortan así como está en la foto.
Después de eso me puse a doblar todas las líneas, bueno, solo 4 espacios porque hay que dejar una alrededor de toda la Jeongvely. Yo lo que hice fue que puse la regla en la línea y doblé la cartulina para que me quedara derecho y después le pasé la regla encima para que quedara bien dobladita y eso hay que hacerlo por todos los lados.
Ahora lo que hice después fue pegar a la Jeongvely donde va y ver que quede derecha y como vi que había una parte que se veía medio torcida en la cara porque el pulso me abandonó haciendo el dibujo le pasé un color verde y quedó mejor así.
Bueno, para hacer el marco lo que hice fue echar un poquito de silicón frio en la cartulina en el espacio que está alrededor de la Jeongvely y doblé los dos laditos que hacen el marco y lo puse en el espacio con pega, y antes de que se pegue doblé los demás lados porque los de arriba y los de abajo tienen entrar en los de los lados y así queda listo el marco.
Yo después le puse un poquito de pega en las esquinas para que quedara bien durito y le hice la parte de atrás para que se pare y eso lo hice con pedacito de cartulina de 3 centímetros de ancho y 8 centímetros de largo y la doblé en tres partes y la pegué con silicón frío y después la doblé como está en la foto y la pegué con la pistola de silicón y listo, la shadow box de Jeongvely quedó lista.

How are you all? I’m doing great! I got my exam results from last week this week and I did absolutely brilliant – I’m so happy about that, and I hope you’re all doing well too. Today I want to show you another shadow box I made, but this time of Jeongvely, which is the character or soft toy representing Jeongyeon, one of the singers in Twice, who are one of my favourite K-pop groups.
I didn’t make this shadow box using prints like the other one I made of Twice; instead, I painted it myself. It didn’t turn out perfectly, but I still like it because it’s something I made myself for my room, and as I liked how it turned out, I wanted to make the shadow box using white card, and it looks really nice.

Now for the step-by-step guide
Well, the first thing I did was the drawing, but I didn’t take a single photo of it because I didn’t know if it looked good or not. But if I make another one of my bias from that group, I’ll show you the step-by-step guide.
After I’d done the drawing, I set about making the frame. I used white school card because it bends easily and is easier for me to work with. The first thing I did was mark out five spaces at the bottom, each one centimetre wide, and I made it long because I wasn’t sure exactly what size I’d need.
Then I did the same on the right-hand side, and then I took the Jeongvely drawing and marked the card to make the five spaces at the top and those on the left.
After finishing marking, I cut out what I was going to need and, at the corners, I cut out what you can see in the photo – these are squares with four spaces on each side. I did this for all four corners, and then on the sides I made the little marks shown in the photos. You need to count inwards from the outside for 3 squares, mark a centimetre on the one in the middle, cut it, and then cut it as shown in the photo.
After that, I started folding all the lines – well, just four spaces, because you have to leave one around the whole Jeongvely. What I did was place the ruler on the line and fold the card so that it was straight, then I ran the ruler over it to make sure it was neatly folded, and you have to do that on all sides.
Next, I stuck the Jeongvely in place and made sure it was straight. I noticed that part of the face looked a bit crooked because my hand had wobbled while drawing, so I coloured over it with green and it looked better that way.
Well, to make the frame, what I did was put a little bit of cold silicone on the card in the space around the Jeongvely and fold the two little sides that make up the frame and place them in the space with glue, and before it stuck, I folded the other sides because the top and bottom ones have to fit into the side ones, and that’s how the frame is finished.
I then added a little glue to the corners to make it nice and sturdy, and I made the back so it would stand up. I did this using a piece of card 3 centimetres wide and 8 centimetres long; I folded it into three sections and stuck it down with cold silicone glue, then folded it as shown in the photo and secured it with the hot glue gun and that’s it, the Jeongvely shadow box is ready.
