We don't need to be a professional artist to express ourselves creatively, no matter your skill level, you'll be able to experience all the good things art can bring you when you let your imagination run wild. A mentor once told me:

It is true that you have to be open to experimenting with any creative task, wood, oil painting, goldsmithing, handicrafts, etc. You should not feel that you have to do just one thing. In fact, the princess of the house told me that if I could make her a night lamp with some recyclable material, this was something consoling for me because not having to go to the store is a help for the wallet. XD.
From that request the project that shows the main image was born, a youthful cactus lamp, come and see the next step by step.
No necesitamos ser un artista profesional para expresarnos de forma creativa, sin importar tu nivel de habilidad, podrás experimentar todas las cosas buenas que el arte puede brindarte cuando dejas volar la imaginación. Un mentor una vez me dijo:

Es verdad hay que estar abierto a experimentar cualquier tarea creativa, madera, pintura al óleo, orfebrería, manualidades, etc, no hay que sentir que debemos hacer una sola cosa. De hecho, la princesa de casa me dijo que si yo podía hacerle una lámpara de noche con algún material reciclable, ésto para mí fue algo consolador porque no tener que ir a la tienda es una ayuda para la cartera. XD.
De esa petición nació el proyecto que muestra la imagen principal, una lámpara cactus juvenil, ven y mira el siguiente paso a paso.
1 PASO
El primer paso es muy simple, necesitamos abrir un orificio al macetero cactus para pasar por dentro el cableado eléctrico de la lámpara, en éste caso se utilizó un cautín caliente ya que el material plástico es vulnerable al calor.

The first step is very simple, we need to open a hole in the cactus pot to pass through the electrical wiring of the lamp, in this case a hot soldering iron was used since the plastic material is vulnerable to heat.

With brown thread I covered all the wiring of the lamp using instant glue, approximately 50 centimeters long, the cable measures.
This coating gives a better aesthetic to the design.

Con hilo marrón cubrí toda la cablería de la lámpara utilizando pegamento instantáneo, aproximadamente 50 centímetros de largo mide el cable.
Éste recubrimiento le da una mejor estética al diseño.
STEP 3
Electrical circuit
With the soldering iron and tin I soldered the positive and negative of the cable in the bulb holder and placed a plug. I then covered it with masking tape to insulate the poles from colliding and shorting.

Con el cautín y estaño soldé el positivo y negativo del cable en el portador de bombillo y coloqué un enchufe. Luego recubrí con cinta adhesiva para aislar que los polos choquen y hagan cortocircuito.
STEP 4
The fourth and final step is to add landscaping stones to the container to serve as a counterweight. With instant glue I fixed the light bulb holder to the cactus pot and painted it with silver acrylic paint.

El cuarto y último paso consiste en agregar piedras de jardinería al macetero para que sirva de contrapeso. Con pegamento instantáneo fijé el portador de bombillo al macetero cactus y lo pinte con pintura acrílica color plata.
