Sometimes I enjoy challenging myself to create something beautiful using very simple materials. This wall piece was born from the desire to reuse items that would normally be thrown away. Instead of scrapping already used A4 papers that had been printed on, I decided to turn them into a decorative wall piece. The process was calm, enjoyable and rewarding, and the final result is a simple decor that can brighten up any space.
MATERISL USED
Used A4 printed papers
Artificial flowers
Wax gum
Black poster color
Paint brush
Paper pictures
Scissors
To begin this piece, I folded and rolled the used A4 papers into firm sticks. After rolling them neatly, I laid them on each other carefully to form a rack like structure.
Once I was satisfied with the arrangement, I used a glue gun to attach the rolled papers together. This created the main frame of the wall piece.
After assembling the structure, I painted the rolled paper frame black. The color helped to cover the printed texts on the papers and also gave the wall piece a clean and attractive look. When the poster color dried completely,
I extracted small pictures from paper and prepared the artificial flowers. I then pasted the flowers and pictures on different parts of the structure, making sure they were evenly placed.
The finished wall decor is lightweight and easy to make. It can be used in a bedroom, sitting room, classroom or office. This piece shows that with creativity and patience, used materials can be transformed into something beautiful instead of being wasted.
