Hello friends, Warm seasonal greetings to you. As Christmas draws near, our spaces begin to reflect joy, warmth, and #celebration. We are In the spirit of the season, I created this Christmas wall frame to decorate my space and set the Christmas mood using simple materials I already had at home.
This craft was inspired purely by the #Christmas atmosphere. I wanted something #handmade, meaningful, and affordable that would brighten my space without spending money. I did not go to the market to buy anything new. All the materials used were items I had kept for a long time, which makes this craft #eco-friendly and low cost.
Materials Used
Carton
Golden plate
Beads
Wax gum
Poster color
Ribbon
PROCEDURE
I cut two rectangular shapes from the carton. One was for the base and the other for the frame design. From the first rectangle, I cut out the inner part to create an open space that fits into the second rectangle, giving it a frame look.
I glued both rectangular cartons together firmly to form the main wall frame base.
I cut smaller carton pieces using the measurement of the inner space of the #frame to build the edges. I peeled off the surface of the carton pieces to create a wavy texture and improve the design. The peeled cartons were pasted all around the frame carefully.
I cut the golden plate into the shape of a Christmas tree. I also cut a carton in the same shape and peeled it to give texture. I pasted the peeled #carton tree onto the golden plate tree to create a reflective design. I created a base for the tree and fixed it properly inside the frame.
Finally, I painted it with poster color, added ribbon , beads to give the wall frame a neat and festive finishing.
This DIY is low cost, and made from recycled items. It shows that beautiful Christmas #decorations can be created with #creativity and intention. As you view this piece, I wish you and your household a Merry Christmas in advance. Feel free to try this #DIY in your space.
