30-Minute Crochet Flower

Hello Diyhubbers, IB here with another crochet piece.
Today, made a beautiful flower with my yarn scraps and I completed this piece in less than 30 minutes to my amazement and I felt like a pro😃

My crochet skill keeps getting better and better by the day. I can’t help but be grateful for not giving up on it yet.

Making crochet flowers has become my favourite part of crocheting, as it does seem like I can bring whatever flower I want to “life” via crocheting and that’s super cool! Crochet flowers are always beautiful and I love them.

To make this beautiful crochet flower, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.

Materials
Yarn
Scissors
Crochet hook

Terminologies

CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
TR — Triple Crochet

Procedure

Step 1:
Make a slip knot. Proceed to make 10chs, skip the first stitch, make a sc in the second stitch, and the next two stitches that follow.

Step 2:
Continue this round by putting 2hdc each in three stitches, 3dc each in three stitches, ch 1, and cut your yarn.

Step 3.:
Carefully fold the flower, and sew the edges.

Step 4:
Proceed to make the leaves of the flower. Make a total of 5 leaves.

Step 5:
Stitch all the leaves together and the flower too, this is to ensure a firmer hold for both the flower and the leaves.
In less than 30 minutes your beautiful flower is ready, easy peasy, lemon squeezy😃
