Hello Diyhubbers, how are you all doing?? Today, I am glad to present my latest crochet project to you all and I am super excited about how it turned out.
Since I started learning crochet, I have learnt to respect all crochet artists, I see these people as magicians because there is no way these artists can make, manipulate, and design stunning pieces with their hands, yarn, and a hook, no freaking way!
During these two weeks, I have come to learn patience and the importance of muscle memory. The more you go, the faster you become and the more evenly your stitches become. I also learnt that making mistakes and undoing your stitches isn’t punishment but a learning process.
After spending a reasonable amount of time, my beanie was finally done.
To make this beautiful beanie, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.
Materials
Yarn
Crochet hook
Scissors
Procedure
Step 1:
You start by making a magic circle, then make two chain stitches and a total of 11 double crochets.
Step 2:
Slip stitch into the first double crochet, then make two double crochets and an increase.
Step 2:
Make one double crochet and an increase stitch as you go.
Step 3:
Repeat step 2 and continue crocheting carefully.
Step 4:
One double crochet, one double crochet, and an increase.
Step 5:
Start with an increase and put one double crochet in the first ten stitches, repeat the same pattern around the beanie and in the future rounds by carefully increasing the number of double crochet in each stitch.
Step 6:
After crocheting to your desired length, end the last two rounds by making a chain and single crochet in every stitch.
Step 7:
Satisfied with your beanie, go ahead to make a pompom and attach it to your beanie, viola! Your beanie is ready!
This is my second crochet project, and I look forward to your feedback😃
This took me a lot of time to make but it was worth the stress the stress and time and I honestly can’t wait to start my next project.
Do you love my beanie? Would you love to make something like that?
