Crochet Mini bag

Hello Diyhubbers it’s a great day to show off my latest Crochet design.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I present to you my very own crochet mini bag!!! Yeahhhh!!!!

Today was one of those days when I stared at the works of my hands and couldn’t help but smile and feel giddy. How did I pull this off? Was this ever doable in my books?

I’m particularly excited about this project because I initially wanted to end it at making granny squares alone but my darling Hive account@wongi encouraged me to continue. Thank you, love.

I decided to stick to her advice and turn my granny squares into a mini bag and guess what?? It turned out really nice.

To make this beautiful bag, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.

Materials
Yarn
Crochet hook
Scissors

Terminologies
CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
Tr— Triple Crochet
()— Same Stitch

Procedure
Step 1:
Start with a magic circle. Proceed to make 2ch, 3tr, 4dc, and 1tr in the circle.

Step 2:
Repeat the above pattern but in the reverse order. End the round by slip stitching into the center of the circle.

Step 3:
Begin round two with 2 sc, 2hdc in the same stitch, 3dc, and 2hdc. Complete the row by putting 1hdc each in the next 4 stitches.

Step 4:
To get your center stitch, proceed to put hdc, dc, and hdc in the same stitch. Go ahead and put hdc in the next 4 stitches, 2hdc, 3dc, 2hdc, sc, sc, and wrap it up by slip stitching into the center of your circle, cut your yarn afterward.

Step 5:
Start round 3 with a new colour of yarn. Work with the back loop. Add sc, hdc, dc and tr. proceed to (dc, dc), hdc, (sc, sc), sc, sc, (sc, sc). Ch 2, dc, hdc, sc, sc, dc, sc, sc, hdc, dc at the center and repeat the same process for the next side.
