Hello Diyhubbers, it’s been a minute here😃
Long time no crochet, and I miss crocheting!
It’s been crazy over here and time has been moving to fast, so I had to pause my crochet classes for a while, but I’m here now, not fully back, but making progress.
Today, I made a beautiful flower, and I’m still in awe of it. Yeah, that's what crocheting does to you. You stare at your pieces and always wonder how you got to this point.
I had a few yarn scarps, and I thought to put them to use, and fortunately I was able to create this beautiful flower with them.
To make this beautiful flower, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.
Materials
Yarn
Scissors
Crochet hook
Terminologies
CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
TR — Triple Crochet
Procedure
Step 1:
Make a magic circle, chain 1, put 5sc into the magic circle, close your circle an sl into the first sc.
Step 2:
Begin round two by making 3chs. Put (tr, ch1 slip stitch on the tr)X2 in one stitch. To finish your petal, make 3chs and slip stitch into the next stitch.
Step 3:
Begin the next petal by making 3chs and repeat step two.
Step 4:
Repeat step two to make the remaining petals and finish your petals by slip stitching into the next stitch.
Step 5:
Proceed to make the stem of your flower by making an I-chord.
Step 6:
Carefully crochet the leaves of your flower to give it a more realistic look.
Step 7:
Attach all the parts together and viola! your flower is complete.
This is a beginner-friendly crochet piece, easy and fun to make.
Do you love my flower? Would you love to make something as beautiful as this? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments!
