Greetings.
As educators, we must always find a good way to teach little kids. Where my mom works is a nursery, therefore, kids there are around 2 and 3 years old.
These are the last days of school year, and for me is just the beginning of a new path.
Today, I made this game for my mom to bringing to the nursery.
It just came out as something teachers can use easily. It can be a memory game or a guessing game. The function of it may be to write a letter or a number on one side, and the same on any other side, so the kid must remember where it is, or guess the name of said letter or number.
Materials:
- Silicone Gun.
- White Glue.
- White Sheets.
- Pen.
- Scissors.
- Acetate.
- Frosted Foami.
- Lids from wet wipes.
- Crepe Paper.
- Cardboard.
Step1: Since I had two pieces of cardboard, I had to join them using white glue. If you had an entire piece of cardboard, that will be great. Then I glued two white sheets in the center of the cardboard.
Step 2: I cut out two pieces of acetate and glued them with silicone on the cardboard.
Step 3: I marked with pen the size of the lids on the frosted foamis and cut them out.
Step 4: I glued the frosted foamis on the lids. ( First I thought of six lids, but then I decided 8.) And later, I glued the lids on top of the acetate.
Step 5: Again, patience is a virtue. In this step, I glued the crepe paper on the edges with white glue. Then, with the purple crepe paper I made this braid to glued it on the blue crepe paper.
Step 6: With some of the remaining foami, I cut out some circles to decorate the board.
And this is the final result, friends.
The acetate works for acrylic markers.
I really hope you like it and can apply it to your kids at home.
See you soon!
