Hello, dear friends. It's been a while since I met with you in a new post. That's why I'm here. I want to share with you my second entry to the #diysuncontest.
I was thinking, what can I do for this entry? And I realized that my niece Emma, who is like my daughter, in is this part of her life where she likes brilliant colors, and what can be more brilliant than the sun itself? For that reason I created a mobile sun for her. As you can see in the pictures, she liked it and she wanted to grab it the moment I showed it to her.
Hola, queridos amigos. Hacía tiempo que no me encontraba con ustedes en un nuevo post. Por eso estoy aquí. Quiero compartir con ustedes mi segunda entrada al #diysuncontest.
Estaba pensando, ¿qué puedo hacer para esta entrada? Y me di cuenta de que mi sobrina Emma, que es como mi hija, en esta parte de su vida le gustan los colores brillantes, y ¿qué puede ser más brillante que el propio sol? Por eso creé un sol móvil para ella. Como pueden ver en las fotos, le gustó y quiso cogerlo en cuanto se lo enseñé.
For this idea, I used:
- Silicone.
- Cardboard.
- Toilet paper cardboard tubes.
- Yellow and white paint.
- Brushes.
- Scissors.
- Ruler.
- Stapler.
- Pencil colors.
- Circle lid.
- Gold paper.
Para esta idea, utilicé:
- Silicona.
- Cartón.
- Tubos de cartón de papel higiénico.
- Pintura amarilla y blanca.
- Pinceles.
- Tijeras.
- Regla.
- Grapadora.
- Lápices de colores.
- Tapa circular.
- Papel dorado.
Step 1: With the circular lid, I drew two circles on the cardboard and I cut them out.
Paso 1: Con la tapa circular, dibujé dos círculos en la cartulina y los recorté.
Step 2: Next thing, I took the ruler and marked 1 cm in the cardboard tubes and cut out 18 circles. 1 cm each.
Paso 2: A continuación, cogí la regla y marqué 1 cm en los tubos de cartón y recorté 18 círculos. De 1 cm cada uno.
Step 3: I painted all the pieces with white paint first and the with yellow.
Paso 3: Pinté todas las piezas primero con pintura blanca y después con amarilla.
Step 4: With a stapler, I join 9 of the pieces in a flower form like petals.
Paso 4: Con una grapadora, uní 9 de las piezas en forma de flor como si fueran pétalos.
Step 5: I glued this flower shaped on one of the circles. Then I joined the rest of the small tube circles between the petals form with silicone. And finally, I glued the other circle on the other side.
Paso 5: Pegué esta forma de flor en uno de los círculos. Luego uní el resto de los pequeños círculos tubulares entre la forma de pétalos con silicona. Y por último, pegué el otro círculo en el otro lado.
Step 6: Mixing the orange and red pencil colors, I drew over the yellow circles.
Paso 6: Mezclando los lapices de colores naranja y rojo, dibujé sobre los círculos amarillos.
Step 7: I wanted to make this sun more appealing to my niece, so use gold paper and I cut out small triangles and glued them with silicone all around the border of the middle circle.
Paso 7: Quería hacer este sol más atractivo para mi sobrina, así que utilicé papel dorado y recorté pequeños triángulos y los pegué con silicona por todo el borde del círculo central.
And that was all, dear friends. I just put a string to hang it and I gifted it to my niece.☀️❤️
I have to say this was a fun thing to do, and I didn't expect it to look so well and I'm happy with the result.☺️
Y eso fue todo, queridos amigos. Sólo le puse un cordel para colgarlo y se lo regalé a mi sobrina. ☀️❤️
