We're at that time of year when good family time is a must, as is creativity and the development of textile and craft projects. In my case, thousands of ideas for designing spring up every day of the month during the summer.
Therefore, I couldn't miss out on designing a beautiful beach toy for my daughter.

Nos encontramos en la epoca del año donde los buenos momentos en familia se hacen presentes, al igual que la creatividad y el desarrollo de proyectos textiles y manuales. En mi caso, brotan miles de ideas para modelar cada dia del mes durante el verano.
Por ello, no podia faltar el diseño de un hermoso juego playero para mi hija.
🏖 I'm really excited about this project, as I always see so much potential in the clothes I receive. This one in particular was a lovely gesture from my dear mother-in-law. She knows I love to innovate and work with old garments, so she spoils me with new ones all the time.
I previously shared a tutorial for an outfit made for me using this fabric. Since I was left with several scraps, I decided to make the most of every little piece and create a cute outfit for my daughter. That's why I'm back with this size 4-5 set, perfect for a relaxing day by the pool or the beach. I hope you enjoy it.

Anteriormente les compartí el tutorial de un conjunto para mi con este tejido, al quedarme varios retazos decidi aprovechar al máximo cada pedacito y crear un lindo conjunto para mi hija. Es por ello que en esta ocasion regreso ante ustedes con este juego talla 4-5, ideal para un dia relajante en la piscina o la playa.

Procedure:
1st step:
🏖 For this project, I gathered all the scraps I had left over from my previous project. I happened to have some fabric left over that was perfect for a skirt because of the width and length of this piece. Using the tops of the sleeves, I created a backless top—very summery and fashionable.
Procedimiento:
1er paso:
🏖 Para este proyecto, recaude todas los retazos que me quedaron del trabajo anterior. Casualmente me habia quedado un recorte de tela que era ideal para una falda por el ancho y el largo de esta pieza.
Con la parte alta de las mangas saque un top con la espalda afuera, todo muy veraniego y a la moda.
2nd step:
🏖 I started by making the skirt, adding a small snip to the front. Then I made a 2cm-wide hem, which would hold an elastic band, creating a more defined and fitted waist.
2do paso:
🏖 Comence haciendo la falda, para ello uni un pequeño recorte para el frente de la misma. Luego realice un dobladillo de 2cm de ancho, pues por alli pasaria un elastico, permitiendo que quedara una cintura mas marcada y justa.
3rd step:
🏖 To make my top, I pinned the two pieces together, giving it extra strength and thickness, as it was a swimsuit coverup. I made sure the two straps holding the top together were tucked in.
I sewed all the way around, leaving a small hole to turn it right side out once sewn.
3er paso:
🏖 Para hacer mi top, uni con ayuda de alfileres las dos piezas, dandole mas resistencia y grosor, pues era una pieza de baño. Asegurándome que quedara por dentro las dos tiras que sujetan esta prenda.
Pase costura por todo el contorno dejando un pequeño orificio para voltearlo al derecho una vez cosido.
Step 4:
🏖 Finally, I made two hems on the sides of the top, to pass the straps through, leaving a curl in that area.
4to paso:
🏖 Por último le realice dos dobladillos en los laterales del top, para pasar las tiras por dentro, quedando rizado en esa zona.
5th step:
🏖 Finally, to complement this outfit, I made the lower part of the bikini, where I took a sample of one I had on hand, complementing this beautiful beach outfit.
5to paso:
🏖 Por ultimo para complementar este conjunto le hice la parte baja del vikini, donde tome una muestra de uno que tenía al alcance, complementando este bello outfit playero.
