Hi wonderful people of DIYhub community, I think this is my very first time in the community so I'm skeptical about the community, but fingers crossed, I believe everyone here are doing great. So I will be sharing my step by step process of how I made this bracelet for a friend, oops, I didn't mention earlier that the bracelet was a gift for a friend. Yes that's right, I made the bracelet with the encryption RIAEL which is the name of the friend I'm making the bracelet for.
So the strings I used to make this creation are stated below;
- Yarn (black and yellow colour)
- Measuring tape
- Letter beads
- Lighter
- Scissor
- Black round beads
Step By Step Processes
I started first by picking the beads I needed according to the initials and also set aside the yarns, scissor etc.
I place one of the black yarn in the middle,one by the right hand side and the yellow yarn at the left hand side
I first created a knot to hold the yarns at the beginning.
Then I picked the middle yarn passed it over the right yarn, then picked the right yarn and pass it over the left yarn (yellow) and picked the left yarn, pass it ontop the right yarn and fit it into the right hole created
I continued the same pattern stated above until I had 3.5 inches long before I started fixing the letter beads, according to the initials I started with letter R and continued suit.
I added more letter beads untill I got to letter A as seen below
And in this step I had finished spelling out her name with the beads and then I continued knitting the yarns
In this step I had finished both the beading and knitting process.
And here I used the same method and process of knitting the main bracelet to knit the knot for the closing using just one colour of yarn (black).
This is my final step after finishing everything, I added four black beads at the extreme side of handle
