Hello, how are you? Whenever I saw any red velvet cake, donut, cookies, etc., I felt like it looked so fancy and delicious. And I love red, so it always attracts my eyes LOL.
So I decided, why not make a red velvet donut? Right? As long as there is a new flavor of donut, I will never get sick of making one.
I am so excited to use this red polymer clay I bought, so I made one, haha.

Craft Time!
Sculpting The Clay:
Knead the clay until soft. I like to weigh the clay I used for future reference. You can skip this part.
Shape it into a ball, making sure to shape it until the texture of the clay is soft, with no creases or dents. I place any lid so that I can sculpt it more easily.
Using the tip of the clay tool I have, I poke it into the middle of the clay, creating a hole just like a donut.
Using the needle tool, I added a texture in the middle of the donut, just to make it more realistic.
To add more texture to the clay, I use a toothbrush and a tree brush tool. I make sure to just lightly dap it onto the clay.
Now the donut is ready to be shaded.
Adding Shade:
I stuck a sticker in the middle of it, just to imitate the real donut. Using soft pastels and a brush, I added shade to it.
I added eyepin.
Glazing:
In a clean acrylic stamp LOL, I mix liquid clay and white polymer clay.
Mix them until well.
I apply it to the clay. I thought adding a dripping texture would make it look good, as I'm editing it, I should just go with clean glazing LOL.
Adding Sprinkle:
I flattened red clay and then baked it for just 5 minutes, just enough for it to harden, and cut it into small pieces using my clay cutter.
I sprinkle those crumbs onto the still-wet glazing.
Baking the Clay:
Preheat the oven first, bake the clay according to the time and temperature as instructed on the packaging of the clay. After baking, cool down the clay first before proceeding to the next process.
2nd Glazing:
I mix red soft pastels and UV Resin using a needle tool.
I apply the mixture using a needle tool, then cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.
I decide to add more glazing, I mix white soft pastel and UV Resin just like I did earlier, then apply it.
Cure again under UV lamp, and this is what it looks like.
Adding the Keychain:
To add the keychain, I am going to need two pliers and a keychain, of course. I put the jump ring along with the keychain into the eyepin.
Lock it using the two pliers.
Little Photoshoot:
Did a little photoshoot.
