Greetings, dear friends of the DIYHub and Hive communities, welcome to my creative space. Once again, I'm sharing with you and wishing you days blessed with peace, prosperity, and health. I'm also thrilled to be participating in this month's contest, which this year focuses on video games.
Entre los videojuegos que siempre ha llamado mi atención es Mario Bros, existen muchos personajes dentro de él ,y mi favorita es la princesa Peach, no solo porque físicamente es linda si no por sus habilidades y valentía que ha demostrado, así que mi participación se basa en crear un accesorio que posea sus características principales, para ello realicé una visera para niña utilizando foami.
Among the video games that have always caught my attention is Mario Bros. There are many characters within it, and my favorite is Princess Peach, not only because she is physically beautiful but also because of her skills and bravery that she has shown. So my participation is based on creating an accessory that possesses her main characteristics, for this I made a visor for a girl using foam.
Ésta visera es súper facil de realizar, y el patrón lo puedes encontrar en Pinterest en este proyecto tarde como 2 horas, cabe destacar que con este molde también puedes realizar la de Mario, Luigi, entre otros personajes, a continuación los materiales y el paso a paso.
This visor is super easy to make, and you can find the pattern on Pinterest. This project took me about 2 hours. It's worth noting that you can also make visors of Mario, Luigi, and other characters with this pattern. Below are the materials and step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step
El primer paso que voy a realizar será dibujar el molde en una hoja blanca, debes tener en cuenta el tamaño de la circunferencia de la cabeza de la persona.
Ahora recortamos y voy a dibujar este molde de dos piezas sobre el foami color rosa, para esto utilicé un foami tamaño carta.
The first step I'm going to take is to draw the template on a white sheet of paper. You need to keep in mind the circumference of the person's head.
Now we cut it out, and I'm going to draw this two-piece template onto the pink foam sheet. I used letter-size foam for this.

La visera a diferencia de la gorra no cubre la parte del centro, así que tenemos dos partes la parte frontal y el centro, en la figura número 1 voy a marcar una linea recta con un cutter y la figura número 2 tiene una especie de pestaña en el centro.
Unlike a cap, the visor does not cover the center part, so we have two parts: the front and the center. In figure number 1, I will mark a straight line with a cutter, and figure number 2 has a kind of tab in the center.
Recortamos, y procedemos a realizar los demás adornos, hice una corona en foami dorado, en el centro colocamos una pegatina color fucsia y en los laterales dos pequeños círculos de color azul, esta corona la voy a ubicar sobre foami fucsia escarchado para formar una dobla capa.
We cut it out, and proceed to make the other decorations. I made a crown in gold foam, in the center we placed a fuchsia sticker and on the sides two small blue circles. I am going to place this crown on glittered fuchsia foam to form a double layer.

También realicé dos honguitos pequeños con foami fucsia, blanco y color piel, ahora voy armar la visera, voy a unir ambas partes la figura número 2 voy a unir a la figura número 1 a través de la abertura que realicé con el cutter, por la parte de adentro pegamos con silicón, así como también unimos las esquinas.
I also made two small mushrooms with fuchsia, white and skin color foam. Now I'm going to assemble the visor. I'm going to join both parts. I'm going to join figure number 2 to figure number 1 through the opening I made with the cutter. On the inside, we glue with silicone, and we also join the corners.

En el centro voy a pegar la corona que realicé anteriormente, ahora cortamos una franja de foami de color rosa escarchado con una medida de 30 cm, puedes extender colocando un retazo de foami de cada lado, para cubrir la línea entre la unión del foami pegamosnel hongo de cada lado.
In the center I'm going to glue the crown I made earlier. Now we cut a strip of glittery pink foam measuring 30 cm. You can extend it by placing a scrap of foam on each side. To cover the line between the foam joint, we glue the mushroom on each side.

Por último en cada esquina colocamos una pegatina color rosa, y listo, así terminé la visera inspirada en la princesa Peach, tomando los colores, y figuras principales, espero les haya gustado el resultado y que les sea útil, muchas gracias por el apoyo y por visitar mi publicación nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad con más ideas creativas.
Finally, we placed a pink sticker in each corner, and that's it! That's how I finished the visor inspired by Princess Peach, using her main colors and figures.
