Este tipo de sombrero en tela me gusta mucho, ya que en lo personal sudo mucho y éste me permite estar más fresca, aparte que su modelo es ideal para taparnos gran parte de nuestro rostro del sol y proteger nuestra piel, para la confección de este gorro utilizaré un viejo pantalón, la tela de este, está un poco gastada y también mi hijo dejó de usarlo ya que se rompió, pero éste tiene gran parte de la tela en buen estado, así que decidí convertirlo en algo útil y darle una segunda oportunidad,
aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:
- Puedes utilizar la tela de tu preferencia, y también puedes utilizar esos viejos Jeans, que ya no usas o que están deteriorados
- Cinta métrica
- Tisa, para marcar la tela
- Tijeras
- Molde para el sombrero
- Hilo
- Máquina de coser, en caso de no tener puedes hacerlo a mano, ya que su confección es bastante sencilla
I really like this type of fabric hat because I tend to sweat a lot, and this one keeps me cooler. Plus, its design is perfect for covering most of my face from the sun and protecting my skin. To make this hat, I'll be using an old pair of pants. The fabric is a bit worn, and my son stopped wearing them because they ripped. But most of the fabric is still in good condition, so I decided to repurpose them and give them a second life.
Here's the list of materials you'll need:
- You can use any fabric you like, or even those old jeans you no longer wear or that are worn out.
- Measuring tape
- Chalk for marking the fabric
- Scissors
- Hat pattern
- Thread
- Sewing machine. If you don't have one, you can sew it by hand, as it's quite easy to make.

PASO A PASO
STEP BY STEP
Para nuestro primer paso, vamos a comenzar sacando las partes de nuestro gorro, me voy a guiar por un gorro de mis hijas, este es un poco pequeño para mí, así que me gustó la idea de hacer uno con el tamaño ideal para mi cabeza, este gorro consta de 3 partes, dibujamos la orilla inferior, cortaremos cuatro piezas en total de esta parte del gorro.
ahora cortaremos la segunda parte, esta es el centro del gorro, dibujo un aproximado del modelo y luego corrijo con las medidas, al momento de cortar, dobló a la mitad la tela para que me queden iguales ambas piezas. De esta cortaremos 2 piezas y por último vamos a hacer el círculo que lleva en la parte superior de la cabeza, dibujamos guiándonos con el gorro modelo, dejamos un excedente para la costura comparamos con las piezas del Centro de nuestro gorro y luego cortamos
For our first step, we'll start by cutting out the pieces for our hat. I'm going to use one of my daughters' hats as a guide. It's a little small for me, so I liked the idea of making one the perfect size for my head. This hat has three parts. We'll draw the bottom edge; we'll cut four pieces in total from this part of the hat.
Now we'll cut the second part, which is the center of the hat. I'll draw a rough outline of the pattern and then adjust it with the measurements. When cutting, I fold the fabric in half so that both pieces are the same size. We'll cut two pieces from this. Finally, we'll make the circle that goes on top of the head. We'll draw it using the pattern hat as a guide, leaving a seam allowance. We'll compare it to the pieces from the center of our hat and then cut it out.

Para nuestro segundo paso, vamos a comenzar con las costuras, primero unimos las dos piezas centrales de nuestro gorro por los lados, luego unimos la parte superior, la que es una circunferencia, hacemos pequeños piquetes a la mitad de esta figura, fijamos con alfileres, y luego vamos pasando costura por toda la orilla, uniendo ambas piezas
For our second step, we'll start with the stitching. First, we join the two center pieces of our hat along the sides. Then, we join the top part, which is a circle. We make small notches in the middle of this shape, secure it with pins, and then sew along the entire edge, joining both pieces.

Para el tercer paso, vamos a unir las piezas de la orilla inferior de nuestro gorro, unimos dos de las piezas por los lados y luego las otras dos y luego las unimos entre sí por toda la orilla, luego volteamos y le pasamos costuras por el lado derecho podemos pasarle varias costuras decorativas. Según nuestro gusto, yo le pasé dos hileras de costura.
For the third step, we'll join the pieces of the bottom edge of our hat. We'll join two of the pieces along the sides, then the other two, and finally join them together all along the edge. Then we'll turn it right side out and sew along the right side. We can add several decorative stitches, depending on our preference. I sewed two rows of stitching.

Para el cuarto y último paso vamos a unir todas las piezas de nuestro gorro, aquí tuve una pequeña complicación, la parte del centro me quedó mucho más ancha que la de la orilla y no me coincidió, pero por suerte, esto no fue tanto problema, le hice unas pinzas y le metí un poco en la costura de los lados, y así me cuadró perfecto con la orilla inferior, fijé con alfileres y luego pasé costura y así ya está listo este lindo gorro, ideal para esos días soleados o para un día especial en la playa, espero les haya gustado esta idea
For the fourth and final step, we'll join all the pieces of our hat. Here I ran into a small problem: the center part ended up being much wider than the edge and didn't line up. But luckily, it wasn't too much of a problem. I made some darts and tucked it in a little at the side seams, and that's how it lined up perfectly with the bottom edge. I pinned it in place and then sewed it closed, and there you have it! This cute hat is ready, perfect for sunny days or a special day at the beach. I hope you liked this idea.

Me gustó mucho el resultado, este gorro, si tiene el tamaño apropiado para mi cabeza. I really liked the result; this hat is the perfect size for my head.
