Hello hive
Greetings to all my creative’s friends on hive and diyhub community how are you all doing today happy new week to you all .
Today I will love to share this beautiful and creative wrapper gown I made for my sister and she look beautiful has she wore it to church.
material used
Ankara fabric
2 yards of lining
Zipper
And the trimmings at the front
Black Thread
cutting steps
I firstly cut the half length then I measured 16” and the burst is 10” plus sewing allowance after then I measured the waistline and cut out the neckline .
The front neckline has a net material measured 6” length joined to the Ankara then the back neckline is high 1”by 3” .
After cutting the half length the next step is to cut the sket part.
I folded the front sket first the I measured the length to be 40” plus 16” half the full length will be 56” then I measured the waistline and hips then after cutting it out I place it on the fabric to cut the back that has zip folding allowance.
Next step is sewing
I turn all the piece with the lining then I iron it and it’s came out beautiful and sexy when she wore it .
