Hello beautiful people in this amazing community,it is with great delight that am always here to learn and to share,i have learnt alot from this community and it has benefitted me as a mother.
I have been able to put smiles on my kids faces with diyhub crafts i have created
Thank you so much .
Today i made a magical wand as one of my entry to the magical Contest.
Using a cardboard and a pencil.
Here are the materials i used
- Different colors of sand beads
- Glue
- Pencil
- Scissors
- White cardboard paper
- A ruler.
- Step 1
The first thing i did was to get the cardboard,i folded it into two parts,i got a pencil and a ruler, i made five dots on the white cardboard and i used a ruler to match through the line to form a star shape.
- Step 2
I got a glue and put it around the star i had made on the cardboard.
- Step 3
I started putting my beads on it.
I love beading but when it comes to sand beads i rather use them for decoration.
I love decorating with them and they fit in just fine.
After fixing the beads on it,i waited for it to dry.
I beaded all the areas of the drawing and i allowed it to dry.
- Step 4
I took a scissors after the beads had dried and i cut out the design
- Step 5
I put some glue on the pencil and i fixed it into the middle to have a magic wand shape.
I fixed beads on the other side i had turned over, and i also allowed it to dry.
And my magic wand was ready.
My daughter was eagerly waiting for me to finish up so that, she could use the magic wand for her homework,i guess the motivation for her to study more than usual came from the magic wand.
The smile on her face was priceless.
she started her homework immediately and was so excited in doing it.
This was indeed magical, hahaha because, i didn't have to scream my lungs out for her to study.she happily and effortlessly sat down and completed her homework.
