Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. This New Year, I made a new house out of plastic boxes used to store bottles. These boxes were no longer in use, so they were ideal for recycling and giving them a new purpose for our home chicken coop.

Materials

• Two bottle storage boxes
• Wire
• Machete or knife
• Pliers or pickaxe

We must start by removing the central part of the bottle dividers. To do this, I used a machete and applied enough pressure to remove this central part so that it is free and spacious. Then I also removed the protruding material.

Then I took the other box and joined it to the yellow box where we had removed the material from the center of the dividers. To join them, I simply made a few small holes in one of the boxes and used wire to tie them together at the top and bottom.

Then I used water and detergent to wash the boxes and remove the dirt so that the chickens could lay their eggs in a clean place. I placed the box on some blocks to raise it up and also placed a cardboard bar at the bottom of the door of the house. Finally, I placed a blanket or sheet inside, but I'm also going to put some dry grass in so that the house can better absorb moisture.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Este año nuevo hice una nueva casa con cajas de plasticos donde se guardan las botellas, estas estaban en desuso y por lo tanto son ideales para reciclar y darles una nueva utilidad para nuestro gallinero en el hogar.

Materiales

• Dos cajas de desposito de botellas
• Alambre
• Machete o cuchillo
• Alicate o piqueta

Debemos iniciar con retirar la parte central de los divisores de las botellas, para esto yo utilicé un machete y haciendo suficiente presion sobre estos se puede eliminar esta parte central con el propósito de que esta quede libre y espaciosa. Luego tambien elimino el material que sobresale.

Luego tomo la otra caja y debemos unir esta a la caja amarilla donde elimimamos el material del centro de los divisores. Para unir estas solo abri unos pequeños orificios en una de las cajas y con el material de alambre procedemos a amarrar en la parte superior e inferior.

Luego utilicé agua y detergente para lavar las cajas y eliminar la suciedad para que las gallinas pongan los huevos en un lugar limpio. Coloqué la caja sobre unos bloques para que estos tomen más altura y además coloqué una barra de carton en la parte baja de la puerta de la casa, además por ultimo coloqué una cobija o una manta, pero tambien voy a colocar pasto seco para que la casa tenga una mejor recepción de humedad.
