Hello my DIY Hub loves! Today I'm here to show you how I made a little Kuromi keychain. I started this project because I thought a personalized keychain would look really cool, and also because I needed one so I wouldn't lose my keys. Plus, I had the chance to create something personalized. Since I really like the Kuromi character and hope to have more accessories featuring this fun character, I tried to create a combination of styles. I hope you like it! Let's get started!

Since I was going to make Kuromi for a keychain, I decided to trace all the body parts onto a sheet of paper. The image was larger, so I did the same thing but with the smallest details, as small as possible. Then I traced those pieces onto the felt pieces, each part of the character in the color that best matched.

Now I started sewing the body first, I sewed with white thread, the seams are also by hand and it is the buttonhole stitch since it is best suited to this type of craft, once I had the little body sewn I moved on to stuffing it with pieces of fabric since I didn't have any plush stuffing and this is a good option since I didn't need much.

Then I proceeded to sew the head pieces together. Using the same stitching technique, I sewed the white face piece to the purple piece, then I sewed the other purple piece, which is the back, and the ears as well. I stuffed the ears with pieces of fabric and then sewed them to the head.

Continuing, with the help of a pin, I placed the head and body pieces together so they would stay in place while I sewed with small stitches. Then, using liquid silicone, I attached the other pieces. Since these pieces were so small, I wasn't going to be able to sew them, so I used liquid silicone, which helps in these situations.
(Resultado final:)(Bottom line:)
Once again, I enjoyed sharing this lovely handmade project with you. Here's the finished product, and it was easier than I expected despite its size, as it had very small details. I'll soon show you the complete keychain with the Kuromi charm. I'm sure you'll also like the idea of making this little accessory to personalize your keychains. Thank you for joining me; I hope to see you soon! 👋
