Hello, how are you, dear friends who are part of this DIY Hub and Hive community? I'm happy to be back here with you on this wonderful day. To tell you a little about what I want to show you, one of my cats is experiencing fur loss, and I thought of making him a pet shirt. It's not the first time one of my pets has worn clothes; I previously had some dogs, and there were times when they also wore clothes. Since I was looking for a solution to the kitten's problem, I thought of covering the affected area until new fur grows back. To help with that, I'll also be applying aloe vera, as it's very good for combating dryness in the area where the fur is falling out. I hope what I made helps my kitten.

Paso nro 1
Paso nro 1
To begin, I had to look for a little shirt pattern on Pinterest and found one with similar measurements. I used the image as a guide and traced it onto a piece of recycled paper, so it will have another use. Also, since the shirt doesn't require much fabric, I can use up leftover scraps. After making the pattern, I traced it onto the fabric folded in half, so I could easily mark and cut out the shirt shape.

I'm also going to add bias tape to the neck and shoulders, and then I'll sew the bias tape on.

After sewing the bias tape, I proceeded to sew the shoulder part and then the back opening to close the shirt.

Finally, I sewed the hem as a finishing touch, and now I just have to see if it fits my kitten.
(Resultado final:)(Bottom line:)
And here are the photos of the final result, and it turned out better than I expected. Now my kitten looks much more covered up. If you like this idea as a way to help our pets, I'd love to hear your opinions in the comments. Thank you all for joining me today, and I'll see you again soon here in a new blog post.
