Hello everyone on the hive blockchain, how are we all doing this evening.am sure great, mine is wonderful too.
Yeah, this is veemahfashion, the CEO of veemahfashion world and I have come to share my little experience on how i made this beautiful bubu trouser with cargo pocket and a crop top.
These are the items I used in achieving this;
---- my tape roll
---- my scissors
---- my vintage material
--- the measurements
--- ruler
To cut the bubu trouser, i fold the material into two using the longer length. now i subtracted two inches at the top for the band and from there I took the full length of the trouser plus two inches allowance for hemming.and from the top measure down to nine inches for my hip.
Now I divided my hip circumference by four plus three inches and mark.now i measured what I have at the hip line and place it on the waist line which is on top.
Now from the top also i marked the crotch line.and there are two major ways to measure and know the crotch line of the customer your sewing clothes.and the two ways includes; by measuring the customer on a sitting position from the waist line down to the hip( while she is sitting down) or by dividing your customers hip circumference by four and add one point five inches to it.both of them are correct and usually give me accurate answer.
After marking the crotch line,on that same crotch line you will input your round thigh measurements divided by two not by four. and mark it on that crotch line.then you use your ruler to connect the lines and make your crotch curve of two to three inches depending on the size of your customer.
Now because is bubu trouser,it has to be big,so you don't really need to remove anything.just make your curve straight down but it becomes More bigger at the down part.you through your work and measurements and if their okay then you cut it out.
To cut the back of the trouser, you will fold another of that material into two, leaving about two inches at the top and also about three inches at the crotch extension line.
You place the front piece of the trouser that you have already cut on top of the back fabric that you folded, now on that crotch extension line, you will mark two to three inches depending on how big or small that person is, and on that crotch curve, you come out by one inch and at the top, you go up by one to two inches depending on the size your working with.which os for bot rise.
Also from that crotch extension line, you will also add one point five to three inches down to the hem.after which you now go through your work before you cut it out.
Don't also forget to measure out two inches on fold for the length and measure round the waist circumference before cutting out the waist band.after that you move straight to the sewing machine and sew.
HOW TO CUT THE CROP TOP
To cut the crop top, you will fold the fabric into four using your biggest body size which is either the burst or the waist.you divide it by four and add two inches to it.
Now after folding into four because your cutting front and back together, but do not forget to bring out two inches on the front part(i mean on the side you want to use for the front.) this is for botton overlap
Now at the top, you divide your shoulder measurements by two and mark, you come down by one point five inches for shoulder slope, from there you come down by seven to nine inches depending on your customer's body shape.
Now to know or ascertain your customer's real arm hole measurement, all you need to do is to divide the person's burst measurements by six and add two inches to it.now after marking the arm hole, you come down from the arm hole by one inch and input your burst round circumference divided by four plus two inches allowance
That's same measurements at the burst line, also input it on the waist and mark it down with your ruler.
Now to cut the sleeve, you will fold your fabric into four, using the length of the sleeve your working with, for the wideness of the sleeve you want to cut, you will divide your armhole by two and add two inches to it. now on the open side not the folded part, you will measure three points five to four inches for your cap height and mark and from the folded part you will make your slanted curve down to touch that three to four inches cap height that you earlier marked.and from the down, you will add your hemming allowance if necessary, mark your round sleeve measurements divided by two and then make your curve. and your sleeve is ready.

I cut out a band of about four inches wide and the length is, the length of my sleeve.
I also cut and sew strips for the crop top with a breast pocket of about five inches.
So guys,at the end of this creativity, the trouser and the crop top came out looking so beautiful.
Many thanks to everyone who always find time to go through my post,to comment, make positive corrections and also to vote for me.may thy good lord continue to bless and prosper you all.i sincerely appreciate.
So here is the finished look of the clothes.hop their beautiful.
