Good day lovely people on the hive blockchain.is still your girl veemahfashion.hope everyone is doing wonderfully well.
So i have to tell us little about how i made this wonderful bubu gown.
First of all these are the tools i used in making it;
---Scissors
---- Tape roll
---- Ankara fabric
----- Measurement book
----- Tailors chalk
So guys, you all know that ankara fabric comes in forty-five inches (45"), so when you're cutting a bubu gown and your using ankara fabric, you fold it the other way for you to get the actual length your working with.
So the length am working with is fifty-six plus one and half inches for folding equal to fifty- seven and half.
When you're cutting bubu gown, you fold both the front and the back together.now at the folded edge, you take your shoulder measurement divided by two,mark it and from there you measure out fourteen- sixteen inches for the sleeve. now from where the sleeve stopped, you will come down by two inches for the shoulder slope and connect it back with a ruler to where the shoulder measurements stop.
Now you take the neck width of three inches and neck depth of one inch for the back and three inches wide and eight inches depth for the front because is a V - neck.and make your curve.do not cut it yet.
From where the sleeve stopped you will come down between eleven to fourteen inches for the sleeve opening depending on how wide you want it. now from where the sleeve opening stopped, you will go in by five inches .
On that line you put in your burst round measurements divided by foir plus three to four inches allowance.
After which you go back to the top, measure out twenty-five inches for the hip and place your hip round circumference divided by four plus three to four inches allowance. measure whatever you have at the hip line and place it also at the hem line.and their after you cross check your work before you now cut it out.
But note that, when cutting the neck line,you cut only the back ne k line first,then separate it before cutting the front neck line.to avoid any mistake.and on the front neck line you will cut out one and half inches from that point where you cut out the V- neck down to the hem and replace it with any fine design fabric of your choice.
This helps to give the cloth another wonderful look.it makes it look more beautiful.
So guys here is the final look of the two beautiful bubu gowns with pleats on both shoulder.hope there lovely.
