I've been meaning to make a pouch for my airpod and procrastination has been stepping in like we are from the same lineage, so yesterday I decided to fight that procrastination, and guess what "I won the battle" came up with something cool.
I always tell people that I don't misplace things easily but guess what, recently I almost lost my Airpod, I thought I'd lost them, and remembering the fact that they were gifts from my big sister even made me teary. So I settled down for a while and decided to retrace my steps backward to see if I could remember where I kept them.
After some hours of searching someone found them and brought them to me, glad I found them if not the tears would have been surplus. Thats the little story behind this creation:
Materials used
Yarns
Crochet needles
Procedures involved
I started by making a magic ring then I went further into making a chain of three, then I continued by making two double crochet another chain of two, and another three double crochet. I ended that row by pulling the yarn from the bottom and tightening the ring.
For the second row: I started by making a slip stitch from where I ended the first row, then I went further into making a chain of two and two double crochet and another chain of two and three double crochet, I repeated the same process till I was done with the row two.
Row three: I started with a slip stitch from the third stitch then I went further into repeating the process for the second row and this time, with an extra three double crochet at the middle.
I repeated the same process till I was done with my first granny square then I went further into making the second part.
I made sure the two granny squares were equal and of the same size. After that it was time to join the edges, I used my crochet needle to make a single crochet by joining each stitch of my two granny squares.
My granny square pouch was almost ready, so I made the handle of the pouch to enable easy access to carrying about. For the handle of the pouch, I made a chain of forty and then I joined it to the other side of my small pouch.
And here I was done with my Airpod pouch, now I don't have to be scared of misplacement or anything. I tried hanging it at the side of the handbag and it came out looking lovely as expected.
