Hace mucho tiempo utilizo un cartón gris para mis fondos de fotos para los looks de mi Barbie, este cartón era uno que utilizaba en mis clases de dibujo hace unos años y quedo para fondo de fotos, era como el soporte plegable para llevar a todos lados y así no depender de una mesa, cuestión que con el uso está un poco estropeado y por accidente tire un poco de líquido sobre él jajaja lo seque al sol, pero quedo una mancha muy grande y fea así que decidí renovarlo por que tirarlo no era una opción ya que lo tengo hace mucho tiempo.
For a long time I have been using gray cardboard for my photo backgrounds for my Barbie's looks. This cardboard was one that I used in my drawing classes a few years ago and it was used as a photo background. It was like a foldable stand to take everywhere. and thus not depend on a table, an issue that with use is a little damaged and I accidentally spilled a little liquid on it hahaha I dried it in the sun, but it left a very large and ugly stain so I decided to renew it because throwing it away was not an option since I've had it for a long time.
En general cuando pinto las miniaturas me quedan pequeños sobrantes de pintura que nunca sé que hacer, si bien siempre intento preparar lo justo y utilizar los colores puros, a veces sobra un poco de las mezclas, entonces para pintar esto fui utilizando restos de pintura de muchas cosas que fui haciendo estos últimos meses.
Por ejemplo, cuando estampe telas el sobrante lo guarde en un pequeño recipiente de pintura para utilizar de nuevo y cuando ya no necesité más fue directo al fondo.
También cuando pinté el barco, el gatito, y el sapito amarillo los sobrantes de esas miniaturas fueron al cartón.
In general, when I paint the miniatures I have small leftovers of paint that I never know what to do with, although I always try to prepare just enough and use pure colors, sometimes there is a little left over from the mixtures, so to paint this I used leftover paint from many things that I have been doing in recent months. For example, when I printed fabrics, I kept the excess in a small container of paint to use again and when I no longer needed any more it went straight to the bottom. Also when I painted the boat, the kitten, and the yellow frog, the leftovers from those miniatures went to the cardboard.
Así que básicamente fue un trabajo que tomo un poco más de tiempo, pero lo bueno es que pude utilizar todos mis sobrantes de pintura, la idea era que sea un fondo de colores y ya, con manchas no muy definidas y cosas más abstractas, así fue como lo empecé.
A medida que fui avanzando con pintar algunas manchas comenzaron a tener formas de nubes, así que empecé a definir un poco más con pintura esta forma y todo empezó a tener más sentido, y empecé a redondear un poco más esas manchas así tenían más forma de nubes de caricaturas.
So basically it was a job that took a little more time, but the good thing is that I was able to use all my leftover paint, the idea was for it to be a colored background and that's it, with not very defined spots and more abstract things, like that. It was how I started it. As I progressed with painting, some spots began to have cloud shapes, so I began to define this shape a little more with paint and everything began to make more sense, and I began to round those spots a little more so they had more of a cloud shape. cartoon clouds.
Todas tenían una forma un poco diferente, pero siendo mullidas en general, esto fue algo que decidí muy en el momento, así como también los tamaños que fueron variando, pero decidí que el fondo sea más aguado y las nubes un poco más oscuras.
They all had a slightly different shape, but being fluffy in general, this was something I decided in the moment, as well as the sizes that varied, but I decided that the background was more watery and the clouds a little darker.
Para terminar lo que hice fue remarcar los bordes para que tenga la forma que quería un poco más notoria, use un lapiz policromo que ayudo bastante y quedo con un color intenso, así la forma de las nubes ya estaba más completa y ahora el fondo está listo para ser usado en las fotos de mi barbie.
To finish what I did was highlight the edges so that the shape I wanted was a little more noticeable, I used a polychrome pencil that helped a lot and left it with an intense color, so the shape of the clouds was already more complete and now the background is ready to be used in my barbie photos.
Este fondo se ve muy lindo con barbie posando, es muy colorido y creo que va a quedar muy bien para las fotos de los conjuntos, hace mucho no pintaba algo que no sea una miniatura, ahora tengo ganas de pintar cuadritos nuevamente, pero será una de las actividades que va a mi lista de cosas para hacer en el verano, ya que mis entregas finales están siendo bastante demandantes, espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí.
