Yo soy una hacedora de versos, pero me encanta cualquier manera de hacer el arte. Por tanto, también me gustan las artesanías, adoro hacerlas.
Me gusta trabajar con fuami, hilo, fieltro. adoro hacer muñecas de tela, etc… Pero hoy quiero proponerles una artesanía con papel. Quiero proponerles un mini libro de un autor de mi ciudad.
Carlos Esquivel está a la derecha, el del centro es Diusmel Machado, también escritor y yo a la izquierda
Carlos Esquivel, autor del libro que quiero presentarles, es el autor más publicado de mi provincia y posiblemente uno de los más premiados sino es el más premiado tanto nacional como internacionalmente de los escritores de mi localidad.
El libro que les propongo se llama Epigramas malditos y es uno de los más reeditados, tiene ya como 9 reediciones y todos por distintas editoriales.
Esta vez por Encaminarte, una editorial cartonera, pero sin ISBN, de nivel promocional. Sin embargo, Esquivel está contento con nuestra edición.
Es un libro con un tono entre humorístico y sarcástico. Son poemas cortos, que tienen por nombre epigramas y normalmente tienen temas humoristicos. Y tiene historias muy cómicas alrededor de él. Realmente es un libro codiciado por sus amigos sobre todo en cualquier ciudad del país.
Lo primero es tener todo el documento digital, yo lo armo en Word en una tabla y ahí voy poniendo los epigramas uno por cuadro en la tabla, trato que todos queden del mismo tamaño para la hora de recortar y armar.
Ya el Word está tecleado e impreso, qué vamos a necesitar:
Tijera
Pegamento
Cartulina, yo uso cajas de fósforos vacías
Regla o cartabón
PASO A PASO
Recortar los cuadros de dos en dos o en números pares.
Doblar las tirillas recortadas que queden como en forma de acordeón.
Cuando ya está todo recortado y doblado preparamos para pegar una por una las hojas por el interior que luego va a ir pegado a la cubierta.
Cortar la cartulina del tamaño del mini libro y pegarle el diseño elaborado.
Pegar las hojas ya unidas a la cubierta.
De esta manera ya tenemos un mini libro para regalar, un detalle para el cumpleaños de un amigo, o sencillamente un obsequio para que sepan que nunca olvidas a tus amistades.
Pero no quiero terminar sin antes ofrecerle algún epigrama de Carlos Esquivel, sus amigos siempre le piden que los lea.

Carlos Esquivel, author of the book I want to introduce you to, is the most published author in my province and possibly one of the most awarded, if not the most awarded, both nationally and internationally, of the writers from my town.
The book I'm proposing is called Cursed Epigrams and is one of the most reissued, with about 9 reissues now, all by different publishers.
This time by Encaminarte, a cardboard publishing house, but without an ISBN, for promotional purposes. However, Esquivel is happy with our edition.
It's a book with a tone somewhere between humorous and sarcastic. They are short poems, called epigrams, and usually have humorous themes. And it has very funny stories surrounding it. It's truly a book coveted by his friends, especially in any city in the country.
The first thing is to have the entire digital document. I put it together in a table in Word, where I add the epigrams one per box in the table. I try to keep them all the same size for cutting and assembling.
Now that Word is typed and printed, what we'll need:
Scissors
Glue
Cardstock (I use empty matchboxes)
Ruler or set square
STEP BY STEP
Cut out the boxes in pairs or even numbers.
Fold the cut strips so they look like an accordion.
Once everything is cut and folded, we're ready to glue the pages one by one on the inside, which will then be glued to the cover.
Cut the cardstock to the size of the mini book and glue the finished design on it.
Glue the already joined pages to the cover.
This way, we now have a mini-book to give as a gift, a thoughtful present for a friend's birthday, or simply a gift to let them know you never forget your friends.
But I don't want to end without offering you an epigram by Carlos Esquivel; his friends always ask him to read them.
