Nana came into our lives two years ago, a friend of my mother's gave her to her as a gift, to keep her extra company, as my father had recently passed away. When my mom saw Nana as a newborn in pictures, she was immediately enchanted with the little kitten. That's how Nana, at just two months old, came to our mother's home.
Nana llegó a nuestras vidas dos años atrás, una amiga de mi madre se la regaló, para que le hiciese compañía adicional, pues mi padre había fallecido recientemente. Cuando mi Mamá vio a Nana recién nacida en fotos, quedó inmediatamente encantada con la pequeña gatita. Es así como Nana con apenas dos meses de edad, vino a parar a nuestra casa materna.
Since then Nana has become the queen of the house. And she likes to take long naps literally "anchored" to the back of the chairs in the dining room of the house.
Desde entonces Nana se ha convertido en la reina de la casa. Y ella gusta de tomar largas siestas literalmente “anclada” al espaldar de las sillas del comedor de la casa.
When I go to visit my mom, I always marvel at the special way Nana rests on the edge of the back of those chairs. So I took the opportunity this time to take some pictures of this beautiful kitty there.
Cuando voy a visitar a mi Mamá, siempre quedo maravillado de la forma tan especial como Nana descansa sobre el filo de espaldar de esas sillas. Así que aproveché esta vez para hacer algunas fotos de esta hermosa gatita en ese lugar.
Among all the pictures I took that day, this one above is the one I liked the most. I think Nana looks really beautiful and smart in this picture, she surely noticed that I'm doing an exclusive photo session with her! :-)
Entre todas las fotos que tomé ese día, esta de aquí arriba es la que mas me ha gustado. Me parece que Nana luce realmente hermosa e inteligente en esta foto. ¡Ella seguramente se ha percatado de que le estoy haciendo una sesión exclusiva de fotos ! :-)
Wow... Nana yawns and wakes up a little, surely she is going to get down from that place. But I am happy as a little boy, because I have obtained some charming images of Nana.
¡Caray!... Ya Nana bosteza y se despabila un poco, seguramente ya se va a bajar de ese lugar. Pero yo estoy contento como un niño pequeño, pues he obtenido unas imágenes encantadoras de Nana.
I start to think and a sentence comes to my mind: "Life is a cat" ... Ok, not a very "logical" phrase, but if you have a cat, it might make quite a bit of sense.... Yes... "Life is a cat" ...
Me pongo a pensar y se me ocurre una frase: "La vida es un gato" ... Ok, no es una frase muy "lógica", pero si se tiene un gato, puede que tenga bastante sentido... Sí... "La vida es un gato"...
