Maybe, some of you are very happy with the summer. Same, me too. Summer makes me very productive in making anything. Although the weather is very hot outside, fortunately I have air conditioning, but my skin is often dry because I stay indoors too long. Once in a while, going outside and sunbathing is also fun, but that can only happen in the morning. UV rays will cause some spots on my face if I sunbathe too long even though I use sunscreen.
Because dry skin needs nutrition, I have a very brilliant idea and it's really fun if I can do it this summer. It's actually simple, but I like the concept. What do you think? I hope you're interested.
But before that, I'm very curious, why does calamansi smell so fragrant and pungent than lemon? What do you think? Yes, I have discussed a little about calamansi, this does require a lot of calamansi, I will make calamansi juice with a combination of butterfly pea flowers.
Can you imagine the freshness of a drink from calamansi? The aroma is overwhelming, the sour taste combined with the freshness, multivitamins from butterfly pea flowers and the purple color that will make this drink look very colorful. I know, butterfly pea flowers and calamansi are a perfect combination.
Calamansi is widely sold during the summer, but, the price is quite high but no one will refuse a glass of calamansi juice with ice. Oh yes, I have mint leaves in the garden, enough to add a fresh aroma too, but not too much, I'm afraid the aroma of calamansi will fade because of the strong aroma of mint leaves. But, if you like mint leaves, it's okay to add a little more.
The Recipe of Summer Drink
The Ingredients:
- 1 bowl of calamansi (200gr)
- 10 dried butterfly pea leaves
- 50 gr sugar
- Mint leaves
- Ice cubes
- 300ml water
The Step:
- The easy thing to make this drink, add butterfly pea leaves in a bowl of boiling water, then until the water is boiling, add sugar. Hot water can make the sugar melt and blend into 1 part and the color of the butterfly pea flowers will diffuse well. Of course, the butterfly pea leaves must be filtered so that they do not become an obstacle in drinking this fresh drink.
- While I was waiting for the water to calm down, I squeezed the calamansi and put it in a glass, this is the most satisfying thing in making calamansi ice this time.
- Well, cut some calamansi so that it looks beautiful in the glass, serving also needs the right and refreshing visual. Then the ice cube is put into the glass and full, something cold will be present soon.
- I separated the butterfly pea leaf water in another glass, now this will be put together when I want to drink it.
- I put some mint leaves on top of the ice, then pour everything into the same glass. Calamansi ice with butterfly pea flower is ready to be served!
