The weather is so great in the Netherlands at the moment that the warmth needs some measures.
And than inspired by TikTok the action shop page I went to the store to buy the big icecubes. For 0,99 cents you have a scare with six big cubes to fill. The cubes are 4x4x4 and the best to make the fruit cubes for my drink during the warm hot pre summer days.
Cocktails without alcolhol is great on these days. I love to go and experiment with many combinations already. And i want to go to the thriftstore for those huge bowl glasses. I think that loks so cool on the table.
I bought the mm and washed them with detergent. Than I took some fruit and washed that aswell. The cubes needed to be filled half way and than you could add as much fruit as wanted and add the water to the edge.
I did lime , strawberry, raspberries and blackberries as a trial. The time to freeze them was three hours and after the boys match I was ready for a cold ice fruit drink.
Great for a girl that needs to stay hydrated and great for kids aswell. The color and the huge cubes are a great way serving drinks to them. And the cubes are not melted when I add a second round of water.
I also tried it with tonic and sprite.
Sprite zero that is. It was very nice.
24 cubes van be served in 12 glasses so enough for a party aswell. And all for 4 euros and some fruit.
I washed all before consuming.
Note:
The lime cubes I added water two parts of lime ( quarter piece ) and I also added some juice. Next to the fruit part the cube also tasts like lime. I love lime. I forgot my own mi t from the garden and I also make them with ginger and mint. That’s the idea for tomorrow!
On tiktok you enter cubes and drinks and you get many reels and tiktoks to get inspired.
