Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since I last updated here in HIVE. I know I missed a lot of things already but I was quite busy for a while. I was so burned out from work almost every day that I didn’t have too much time to share updates here. Despite that, I can’t quit at the moment due to my waiving bills and expenses and I don’t want to spend Christmas without a job. You know, Christmas is coming and it’s not easy to find a new job immediately and I want something to share with my family so I still badly need this job for money.
Anyway, I hope some of you still remember me here. Today I just wanted to share a glimpse into my life as a stressful employee, 😁. The other day I was not feeling so well. I had hay fever plus a soared throat and as a nature of my job as a call center agent, it was not comfortable to talk to customers with a really bad voice. So, I decided to consult a doctor to be advice for rest and got my two days off and recommended meds to take.
Today, I went back to the clinic to ask for the document to fit me back to work from the doctor. I admit that I’m not fully recovered but I have to report back to work already.
Anyway, on my way home I decided to buy some kinds of stuff for myself at the grocery store and found this honey that I was planning to buy a while ago because of the article I read that I found out that it may improve periods of sleep that my big struggles for two years already since I started this kind of job. Therefore I also found a lemon so decided to buy those too.
I bought the honey for ₱137.75 ($2.39) and the lemon for ₱37.20 ($.64) which is way better than buying some lemonade from food stalls
Just as I got home I immediately prepared the drink. It’s so simple that I only use three ingredients. Lemon, honey, and hot water.
I only use half of the lemon which I sliced and removed the seeds so it’s easier to drink.
Then I added 2 spoons of honey and then squeezed and stirred thoroughly.
And here’s our hot honey lemon juice.
T’was so smooth and refreshing. Hopefully, I get better on the vitamin C I get on this one. 😊. Will be preparing the other half tonight, Cheers!
So that’s it for today guys! I’m also heading now to bed for tonight's shift. Hope that every one of you has a wonderful day! Stay safe!
