Hey. Hi great friends in this community, happy fasting during Ramadan for those who are Muslims around the world. And because I am Muslim and currently I am also fasting, so I have to prepare an iftar menu that is needed by the body and arouses my appetite and that of my husband, of course, this is because the daily body does not enter food and drink so when breaking the fast actually our appetite is decreasing and we don't have an appetite. To overcome this, I have to be smart to prepare or make a healthy iftar menu that doesn't invite new problems to my body.
Today I am very busy and go home very late, the time to break my iftar in my city is around 18.40 WIB while I just got home from work at 17.30 WIB. At first I intended to just buy the iftar menu today, but it turned out that what was being sold didn't appeal to me, so I didn't want to buy the iftar menu which was mostly dominated by various kinds of fried foods and there was only 1 hour left. for me to clean myself and make the main menu and break the fast. As a wife I really have to be smart about dividing my time and even though I am tired and in a race against time I still have to make an iftar menu, and while preparing the main menu I will make a very simple and time consuming iftar menu. less than 5 minutes, not only fast serving but also healthy for my body and the menu for breaking the fast that I made is Fruit Soup.
Fruit soup is a mixture of various types of fruits which are then mixed with ice cubes and coconut milk or milk and can be enjoyed while cold. But not with my fruit soup. If you followed my post a few weeks ago where my husband and I had the flu and cough, then my sore throat got worse, so my husband and I decided not to consume ice anymore, and new problems arose, maybe because yesterday I was so excited to make a spicy menu so that my husband's hemorrhoids recur, the doctor does not recommend him to consume fried foods, coconut milk, spicy foods and drinks or cold foods. Of all our current body conditions, this new fruit soup recipe has surfaced and is perfect for breaking the fast menu with a presentation that doesn't take much time.
The ingredients I need to make this fruit soup are ingredients that are readily available in my fridge without me having to buy any more. And how to make this fruit soup is very easy
1. 1 pear which I then divide in half then I wash and I peel the skin
2. 1 piece of yellow watermelon (leftover iftar yesterday)
3. Grass jelly to taste (wash with boiled water)
4. ½ teaspoon of cheasheet which I have soaked in hot water
5. 1 bottle of yakult
6. 1 65 ml bottle of my favorite strawberry-flavored yogurt
7. mayonnaise 1 tablespoon
How to make :
The way to make it is very simple, that is, all we have to do is cut the fruit, such as pear, grass jelly, and watermelon, then pour the yakult and yogurt, then add the cheasheed, stir until smooth and you can enjoy it.
How very easy to make it right? The fruit you need here is also up to you. You don't have to follow the fruit in my recipe. Then you can also add coconut milk, or liquid milk and ice cubes to it.
However, because my husband and I have health problems in our throats, I decided not to use coconut milk, milk and ice cubes, of course.
And you know the taste of this fruit soup turns out to be fresher than when I use coconut milk and milk. Enjoy trying my recipe and greetings from us, Tomi and Maya from Binjai, Indonesia
