Hello fellow people on hive. Hope you all are doing good.
You might be surprised as to why I am mentioning the overall hive when a huge chunk of my posts were related to gaming. Truth be told, all I did in the quarantine was gaming and meeting with people digitally. Now as the situation was under control I began outing again and it felt great.
The journey on hive is a phenomenal one. I got to see new stuff and even was introduced to this world of crypto. I never knew much about crypto until I had joined here. How I joined here was also a matter of pure chance. All I knew about crypto was Bitcoins and ethereum. But luckily I had a mentor who guided me all the way. I met him in a COD lobby XD. Like I said, purely coincidental. That was a time when I just finished my A levels and had zero plans for the future. I just wanted to have the rightful time of fun I deserved. Rightful as my parents had promised me that I would get it after it all ended. From then on my plans for the future started to fall into place little by little. I would say that it was downright miraculous, to be able to join this community with such great people out here from all over the world through my mentor.
In the communities, I saw many cultures and places around the world. Recently, I saw a post where a person had visited a remote area and met a few tribal people and saw their customs and traditions, their festivities and celebrations. I saw in a post where a man wanted his digital footprints to be established so that another person may find it and take solace at the notion of not being alone and see how the situation had turned out for the old man.
More specifically speaking, in the photography community, I saw marvellous pictures about cities and bridges and sea beaches I can only fantasise about visiting, all of which were laid out for me to see. How truly remarkable. I saw animals and waterfalls that were taken by great cameras and phones that looked perfect, as nature should be.
Saw the bank of Neoxian.
Moving to the people of hive food community, I saw plenty delicious meals that were prepared by the ingenuity of people. I still haven’t tried all the recipes that I had shared🤤😅. I also shared my part there, a ramen review of a shop that I intent to visit again🤤. I saw cake bakery recipes but I do not have an oven yet😅 but I would love to try some they crafted! I even came across a Bangladeshi beef recipes and that had my stomach growl(I am a Bangladeshi and know exactly how it tastes so…)
I even found people with great anime tastes and would try some they suggested once my Uni gives a semester break. I myself have a load of anime wisdom to share😂. The anime community is also filled with anime freaks who enjoy a good rom-com/mystery story which is right up my alley.
Needless to say about the gaming community…😅. Many competitive players and enjoyers that give me a comfort zone. Where I can truly be a game nerd. Although, I never got to try a majority of games that came out the last decade, I am trying to catching up to them and just finished one recently too.
The recent one I am in is the . This club also offers a great activity through their weekly story making completion, sometime it is in 50 words and other times it is in 240 characters with a distinct topic each time. A great engagement of literature shared and people with their great sense of creating genres through the topic is observed. A reward is a also given to the chosen few.
The most revered community for me has to be the BDcommunity. The community has a majority of people hailing from BD along with others from various more origins with their interesting stories. This is a place where I can feel comfortable. Many fun stories about each other’s lives brings serenity even in the difficult days in the https://discord.gg/k4F4ChEE server. This platform has given me the first community that I can be be a part of and has been with me since day 1. Hoping to engage more with them in the near future.
That’s about it I guess, thank you for reading this far and hope you enjoyed it.
