Hello
I hope you're having a great day.
Welcome back to my blog where I'm going to share a digital portrait of Jason "BitBender" Brink, CMO of Gala Games, that I successfully digitalized with a little skill that I have with Adobe Illustrator.
Let's see the completed art.
This is the digital portrait of Jason "BitBender" Brink, CMO of Gala Games and I've found the reference photo from &
who bought this digital portrait from me and then they surprised the man of the portrait for his birthday and the finalized version of this portrait can be found here as well.
There's the real photo that I tried to digitalize.
Steps.
I used Adobe Illustrator CS6 to do this. I used the pen tool for the main parts of the art but I had to take help from some other tools as well.
At first, I went for the eyewear with the eyes and then the nose, the mouth, the face, the cap with the horn, and the remaining parts.
At first, I went for the eyewear where I had to use two colors for the frame and the glass, and then I went for the eyes where I had to use five colors for the shading, and then I drew the eyebrows as well. After I completed the eye part, I went for the lip and the shade of the nose.
Then I drew a part of the hair and the face. Gave the face some color shading for what, the face got an expression as well.
And then I went for the cap with the horn. The cap seemed complex with many color shades but I made it simple and easy where I used only two colors and two more colors for the horns (here suggested me to give some shadow/depth).
Well, then I went for the body part where I've ignored something from the reference photo and I tried to made it my way which is the easy and simple way for sure :D but I tried to make it look good. Well, I've finished my work at this point but the portrait needed a nice background in where and
did the best.
As far as I knew/understood, added the background picture with the logo and the word "Bitbender & Gala" and then
did the GIF part. GREAT WORK guys. I'm not getting the whole credit for this work as they've done a fantastic job on the background part and I really liked it. Together we made a great team, it seemed and I'm looking forward to working with you guys again and again and again.
