*The word ‘sister’ is a symbol of love. Having a sister means having shelter. Having an elder sister means having a guardian after the parents. If that sister is younger, then there is more joy, there is a package of happiness. It is a matter of great fortune to have a sister. There is a proverb that "A brother without a sister is a bird without wings". And I am one of those lucky ones. At present we are three brothers and one sister and our sister is the youngest.
About 10 years ago, we were three brothers in our family. Our parents used to caress us a lot. There was no shortage of their love. They always fulfill our wants as soon as we asked for them. We were very happy with the whole family. But there was also a lack of some happiness, it was the lack of a sister.
A family lived next to us. The family had two sons and a daughter. We often noticed the love between those brothers and sisters their mischief, quarreling, rejoicing together again. Seeing all this, imperfection worked in us. I thought if we had a sister, how much better it would be.
Eventually, our wishes are fulfilled. On the first of February 2010, a new guest came to our family. I can’t express the feelings of that day in words. My father distributed sweets throughout the whole village. All my relatives come from far away to see my little sister. Everyone said that a girl like a fairy was born. We named our little sister "Ikra".
I affectionately call her "Ikra Moni". My younger brothers are also very happy to have a sister. When I was a child, I used to sit beside my sister all day. With the money we saved, we often bought toys for our little sister. My father often gave me money to buy something for us and my sister. We played with our little sister all day. I used to love to fill my sister's small wants. Within a few days, my sister learned to walk. My younger sister loved to walk hand in hand with her brothers. This is how our beautiful times with sisters continue.
Bypassing times our little sister is much older now. She is currently 11 years old. She is now in the fifth grade of a Primary school nearby our village. At this age, she now becomes a responsible girl. She helps her mother with family work. Tidies the house, takes care of old grandmother, helps mother during cooking. The little responsible person in the family is now my little sister.
She is now most responsible to our father. She is responsible for arranging father's clothes also washing those, gives medicine on time. Half of my father's life now revolves around my father's princess. Almost every day there is a funny quarrel between us. But chocolate brings a smile to her face. This smile is the wish of all the brothers.
The relationship between brother and sister is more sweets than our relationship. There are no expectations for this relationship. Some funny quarrels, some mischief make the relationship sweeter.
My little wish is, this love of brothers and sisters live for more than a thousand years.
