I find our Prime Minister very...ummm amusing?
I implied it in a good way! Even perhaps deep down I do admire her a little!
Which is relatively contradicting with my own ideology regarding our national politics.
I absolutely detest everything about our national politics and politicians. To such extent that I have deliberately blocked all kinds of news (about the politics of this country) from reaching me.
The bitterness and sheer disappointment for those active political teams are even darker than black.
It is not that I am prejudiced against them.
But it is just there is nothing you will find about them to like.
As an anamoly, there is one political leader in this entire country whom I appreciate and consider to be worthy of being a leader, even though his political party is one I entirely detest. That is the Mayor of my hometown.
So as you can perceive, I am not prejudiced against them neither I am a hateful person.
However, I was talking about our Prime Minister who is in power for how consecutive years so far I have lost count!
Certainly, you cannot dominate news reaching you altogether if you are dwelling amidst the same community. Hence, dispersed information from here and there will keep catching up to you.
Likewise, there is hardly any way of breaking news associating PM would miss me!
I sometimes watch her in our Parliament, delivering sometimes childish, even unusually humorous sentences which is particularly amusing to me.
I sort of adore that side of her!
Last time I even saw her saying a SHAYRI ! I laughed so hard.
And there is another aspect, I relish about her. That is her shy and muffled smile after she throws a joke in a serious meeting!
Even though I have never accepted her as a political leader and always cursed her at any given chance like any other people in the country. Nevertheless, somewhere in my rational mind, needless to say we are in such pathetic situation that I must acknowledge-
I think she is the best option for us till now.
Our religion (Islam) says- A nation gets a leader, literally what they deserve. Sometimes I can not help but concede more!
These days when I think about her, I rather feel sad for her.
She has that fire in her.
That stubbornness, that intelligence.
She has it what it takes to rule a conutry.
She has it what it takes to walk that nasty road of politics and hold on to it.
But, like her father, she has been losing to nepotism.
Presumably that is the only imperfection our beloved PM could neither eradicate from the Political party nor from her life.
On top of that, she doesn't have learned, calm, competent followers like Tajuddin Ahmed or Nazrul Islam as her father had.
Almost everyone around her is leeching her off with no regard for the slightest shred of patriotism in them!
There are many things for which I would perhaps nonetheless be frustrated, angry, devastated, and cursing her every now and then...
Yet, I wish one day I could say to her-
Make sure you eat well.
Say, Are you having adequate sleep?
You know it's crucial at this age of yours...etc"
