Kishoreganj district is famous for haor area. The main driving force of its economy comes from this haor. There is a five kilometer long embankment to protect Nikli Upazila Sadar. During the monsoon season, waves like the sea come crashing down on the dam from all sides. The beauty of the haor can be enjoyed by standing on this embankment. There are innumerable plants along the dam. The chirping of birds all the time. ★Sweetheart(মিঠাইন)
It is basically an ancient township. Mithamain is also known by a few other names - many people pronounce it as Mithaman, Mitamaine or Mitamon. It is thought that the surrounding area was once a forest of reed trees with a lot of sweet juice.

You can go to Kishoreganj Sadar by bus or train from Dhaka. Convenience by train. Eleven Sindur Prabhati trains from Dhaka leave for Kishoreganj on other days of the week except Wednesdays.
