Lack of sufficient demand in the market, non-change of scope of work over time, lack of innovation in work, inconsistency of expenditure with income, increase in price of soil used as raw material, problems in transportation of raw materials and manufactured goods. This is a traditional art of Bengal for many years. Not only that, due to the various benefits of these utensils made of various metals including plastic, steel, melamine, ceramic and silver, earthenware is losing its appeal day by day.
