As a member of middle class family, before starting graduation my thoughts was just like that after graduation I would do a Job. After completing graduation, I was taking preparation as my previous thinking.
My father passed away when I started my third year journey in university. As I am elder one of my family so I do feel responsibilities to look after them. But I was involved with campus politics from the very beginning of my campus life that hampered a much my preparation.
Due to involvement with politics not only my job preparation was stopped but also I didn’t finished my regular Post Graduation. Still my family pressurize on me lightly but I was become so ambitious about my political career. But it didn’t work out like I want . After a period it was postponed. I finished my Post Graduation. I was closing my involvement from politics slowly. But I hadn't yet starting my job preparation .
That time one miracle happened on my life. I met with her finally I was in Love. It can be said that I was watching the world with colorful sunglasses . I started to spend most of my time with her for making her convinced. She finally accepted my proposal. I started spending more time with her.
After some days I was thinking about our future. I realized that I should have an job to lead my entire life with my precious. Moreover the pressure from family was increasing. I started to take my job preparation. I was taking preparation for Government job but it was lengthy process. I needed a job within a short time that’s why I was also looking for private sector.
I was maintaining communication with some of my university brother’s who was in private sector. Day by day it was getting worse. But I didn’t loss hope. In this period I found some people beside me. One is she and another is my best friend Jahid. He was also taking preparation for job. I was entered in a routine life. The colorful Sunglasses fall down from my eyes.
I was introducing with a new world that time. Our Batch was preparing for ‘RAG' which was celebrated after finishing graduation. Every students had a desire that he got a job before RAG. I also dreamed that but consequences wasn’t in my side. I was facing my worst day. I got an accident by ridding bike and I could not move for One week and get recovered after two weeks.
As Arnold H. Glasow said,
“ Nothing lasts forever – not even your troubles. “
One day one of my sir who was from' Public Administration ‘ department called me over phone. He asked me to come his room with Jahid.
After meeting with him he told us that one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial company ‘AKIJ CORPORATION LIMITED‘ was going to take a campus recruitment for the post of ‘Territory Officer’ from our University.
If we were interested, we have to send him our cv by mail and take some preparation. As I was a student of Bangla department I used to take help from one of my junior who was student of B.B.A.faculty. He gave me some of his notes on basic topics.
Sir informed us the exam would be held on 4th April,2018 and it would be held in two parts. One would be written exam other one is viva.
I was worried but hopeful. Then the date finally had come. Me and Jahid left early for Auditorium as we were instructed. More than 50 people had attend the written exam. Some of my friends also attended the exam. The Head of HR department, Head of Marketing was represented the company.
My exam was good. Sir informed us after lunch they will be called over phone for viva who will be passed the written exam. We left for our lunch. Finishing our lunch, Me and Jahid was waiting for call and also felt worried.
After a while I got call for interview and felt happy. But I got more pleasure when Jahid also got call. Then we went to Public Administration Department as the Viva exam was supposed to be there. Including us 15 more people had join us for the Viva exam. I was the only person whom asked some personal question by viva board so I gotta little sanguine.
They told us the result would be informed after some days. I was eagerly waiting for the result. Then I got busy with the preparation of RAG program but before going to bed I thought about the job. My family, my dreams are all related with this job. Six of mine friends also waited like me. Whenever we met with one another most of time we talked about the result.
I was dreaming I would talk to her family. She will be mine. After spending a week the precious result came out.
A song was continuously rang out of my mind.......
