Antibiotic is one of the common or well-
known medicine at this time. In fact, we take it any fevour or common cold. But do we know the word antibiotic resistance?

Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria and fungi are shielded from the overuse of antibiotics. For this shield they become unbeaten and no antibiotics or medicine works on it. So, the main question is,"how bacteria create a shield?" that defence of antibiotic medicine.

To solve this question, we have to know the main function of antibiotics does. The antibiotic has the killing power of bacteria. It eats bacteria and gives us a therapeutic effect. But a big problem behind this. Every animal or living things have a responsibility to live. They try to live and save their next generation to make shields. It happens only when the antibiotic hasn't the proper killing time. I am explaining this.

If you take antibiotics but do not take the total dose, some bacteria are still alive in your body. But this bacteria would be more dangerous for your body because they know the antibiotic's structural function. So, they shielded their body. For this reason, the same antivirus doesn't work against them. Then the bacteria becomes more powerful than antibiotics and this time bacteria killed the antibiotic. Actually antibiotics are also a microbial substance which work against bacteria.But when a bacteria know the structure of antibiotics it would be difficult to stop them.
Recently, antibiotic resistance is one of the most concerning problems in our world.
Because It can affect anyone of any age. Now a days most of the people don't know about antibiotic resistance. Even village doctors or health workers are not worry about it. They give this medication without prescription. Patients are also happy because ,it works much faster than any medicine.But most horrible matter is they are not continue any more when they feel better.
If we continue to take antibiotics in this unexpected way, then one day, we will have to die of a slight cold and cough. It increased mortality and also cause higher medical cost.
So, we need to prevent this resistance for our future in this world. Otherwise, the world will be occupied by bacteria and viruses. We have to ensure that we take the total dose of any antibiotic. The best way is to reduce the use of antibiotics.
Bangladesh is the kind of country where antibiotics are given in large quantities without prescription.Next time I will write about the situation in Bangladesh in this question.
