Hello hivers,I participate this time in the [Contest][150 Hive in prizes] Write About Your Day Contest promoted by BDCommunity,I leave the link for you to access:
My day starts very early, thanking god for his blessings,I do my morning chores,I am a mother of two boys, who wake up with a voracious appetite so breakfast must be ready,I try to connect with social networks very early, here the internet system is not easily accessible,so it usually takes me a while to connect, when I do I try to take advantage of it,I do some online work,so I try to access several hours in the day.
After this I go to my small garden, given the pandemic, I have invested my time in growing fruits such as: milky, cambur, banana, tomatoes, lemon: I also grow medicinal plants such as lemon balm, oregano, basil and others; this is an activity that gives me much satisfaction, the fruits serve us as food, we help other family members, we share with them.
Fortunately, thanks to the rains the plants have recovered their greenness and I have been able to see the fruit of my dedication. Last year I began to experiment with milky plants, the soil in my yard is not exactly the most suitable, however I have tried with the help of my husband to fertilize it and thank God it has worked, last December, I was able to make milky sweet, a typical dish of my country, which is delicious, I even packaged it and gave it to my relatives as a gift.
I dedicate two hours of my time to support some girls in my community who have learning difficulties, I attend them individually not only to take the prevention measures by the COVID19 , but because it is the most appropriate given the diagnosis of the girls, better results are obtained that way, although twice a week I try to work together to promote teamwork; I am a retired teacher and it is something I like, I do not demand any payment for it, they are very humble girls, their mother does not have the training or pedagogical tools to support them, they live in very poor conditions, I feel good to do this work. I take the opportunity to support my children with their homework.
I continue with my housework, prepare lunch, rest a little, because in the afternoons I go to a small inn, to support in the cleaning and maintenance of the same, currently given the pandemic, some rooms have been rented to locals. It is a very nice house, open concept, colonial type, located near the sea.The owner is foreign, we are waiting for his arrival for the month of February, he has positive plans for the inn, that makes us happy.
I go back home, talk with my children for a while, the situation in my country is very difficult so I look for ways to generate income given the pandemic,I do different tasks online, some related to my modality which is Special Education so I guide students, parents regarding how to support children and young people with learning difficulties, autism, cognitive compromises;I have had enough experience working and my help has been valuable for many parents and children with special educational needs.
I usually try to have a cup of coffee on hand to work, my husband is very supportive thank goodness, however I usually end up tired, when I hit the bed I am immediately tucked in by Morpheus.
