Seeing the worth of some cryptocurrencies in your portfolio escalating rapidly could release more dopamine than taking an ice-cream with your high school crush. Same way watching their price crash hard could make you wish you never bought in the first place. The cryptoverse is a world filled with so many actions that could lead to any of either circumstances and chances are you're gonna experience both of them at some point.
It's always really nice when we talk to people about how we bought a cryptocurrency that went ×100 in a couple days. I could've sworn I almost added "financial and investment adviser" to my resume when Wifedoge went 500% after 24 hours of buying in. The reality however is that we all can buy the same crypto but can't have the same experience with it. Yeah it's pretty annoying jumping in because of raging FOMO and watching your money dwindle (been there) holding on for a miracle (done that) and finally selling because the massive dump had just begun.
I'm not much of a trader as I basically just look for some good projects with promising future and hop on with other builders when the grounds are still flat. It has seemed to be the best strategy so far (thanks to the current bull market) but I'm always in for the long term deals. Yeah, over 95% of analyst predict a crazy crash of prices sometime next year but I don't think that crash would have any significant effect on some cryptos with true potentials and use cases.
I'm super bullish about Hive and can't wait to see all the great things that comes with the chain in the future. Although the volatility in the past few weeks look pretty familiar to what happened in 2017. Remember, history does repeat itself in the cryptoverse and it's quite dangerous to be caught in the bear especially when holding cryptos with very close correlation with Bitcoin. Alot of events are gonna be happening in the coming months and so I currently hold most of my cryptos in wallets for easy trading.
In conclusion my friends, the bull market has been on for over 7 months now and doesn't seem to be going anywhere yet so I hope to make the best use of it in preparation for the bear market. I hope we all get to make the right choices as we journey through this path.
