This Qatar world cup was full of excitement, surprises, and thrills. Felt like a movie directed by Christopher Nolan. The Argentine journey was full of chaos, they lost against Saudi Arabia in their first match, and every game after that was like a knockout match, after the first match every rival was taunting on and on, felt like we won't even cross our group stage but as Messi told us to keep faith on them and we did and he served us the world cup trophy. We kept on destroying one after another, some matches were full of thrills, and almost gave me heart attacks. What a journey it was!!
I have witnessed Lionel Messi lifting the most prestigious trophy on earth, winning the World Cup for Argentina, being the Greatest of All Time and it demands endless celebration. Here we are, celebrating the long cherished victory, took me a couple of days to get back to normal and write something. So far I was speechless with excitement, everything was feeling so unreal yet I was drowning with the pictures of the happy faces.
Mostly I have enjoyed all the matches in my sweet home, maybe sometimes with family, or in a group call. But the last one (final) was an exception, I wasn't willing to miss the possible grand celebration that's going to be celebrated. So I went for the big screens outside with two companions. The first half was so dominating for us, was in a chill mood that we were going to lift the trophy for sure but the second half went devastating, Mbappe did the damage and we were high on the thrill as of what was coming ahead, we went on a lead and then it got leveled, after 120 minutes of the breathtaking run we went on penalty shootout. Here we go again, we have Emiliano Martinez, we are high on confidence and he did it again. Besides Lionel Messi, Di Maria and Emi Martinez deserve a big chunk of the credit. Actually, how the whole team played together with a view to crowning their idol has come true with the trophy lifted in Leo's hand.
Ah Yes, I feel so lucky and fortunate to see Leo achieving this, not everyone is lucky to experience this happiness.
