I joined Hive on March 25, 2026. When I first started here, I really didn't know all the rules. Because I was new and didn't have much knowledge, I made a very big mistake. Today, I feel deeply ashamed of what I did.
What did I do?
At first, I didn't understand that everything here must be 100% my own work. I took some photos with my own Samsung S10, but to make my post look "better" or more valuable, I used some photos from my Facebook friend’s Pixel 7 and claimed they were mine. I thought it was okay, but I was totally wrong. This was the biggest mistake of my life. You can never grow by using someone else’s work or by telling lies.
My big mistakes:
Copying: Without knowing the rules, I used someone else's content as my own. Here, it is called 'theft' or 'plagiarism'.
Self-damage: I basically cut my own legs. For the last 3 days, I have been getting many downvotes.
Too much stress: Believe me, these last 3 days were very hard for me. I can't even explain the tension in my head. I felt like I destroyed my own future with my own hands.
Lesson from my teacher:
My teacher and guardian helped me to see my faults. She showed me the right path. If she hadn't punished me or pointed out my mistakes that day, I probably would have had to leave Hive forever. I will always remember her help.
My humble request to all new friends:
I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. So I am requesting you:
Learn the rules first: Please take the time to read and understand Hive rules properly before you start working.
Do your own work: Whatever you post, make sure it is 100% yours.
Warning: Especially, no one should ever use copied content or tell lies. It can kill your future in a second.
I hope my true story helps others stay honest and careful. From now on, I promise I will only share my own original work. Please, never follow my path of making mistakes or lying.
Stay safe and stay well, everyone.
