Writing about my favorite community on Hive haha, should be an easy one I guess. Judging from most of my previous posts, you can probably guess which one it's going to be haha. BDCommunity is surely going to be my pick for the number one spot, no doubts there.
This community has been there from the start and is still there by my side whenever I'm in need of guidance. Whether it be about writing and posting, tips and tricks available to make my experience on Hive better or anything related to our normal and much "real" lives.
I've been a part of this community for a measly three months now and one thing is for sure, calling BDC a "community" would be an understatement. It's WAY more than that, trust me when I say this. Take it from a guy who has been a part of MANY communities for countless months and years, some close to a decade even.
If you've ever engaged in the BDCommunity Discord you'd know what I'm talking about. Whether it be the regular chats or the weekly hangouts, you'd get the gist on the first hangout, just like I did. It's WAY more than just authors, blogs, crypto or whatever, the things one would usually assume from afar. Only someone who has been a part of the whole community experience knows what I'm talking about. Come join in and see for yourself, I've attached an invite link above.
Most communities consists of people sharing and talking about one or two topics. A topic that brought them together in one place. However, BDCommunity is nothing like that, everyone you see here, the active members, they all had a different reason or cause to join. I myself have never seen nor been a part of such a diverse community in terms of profession, interests, lifestyles, beliefs and many more. Every single active member comes together whenever they can manage the time from their lives and duties just to engage, chill, help out and guide one another.
Even calling it a family would be underplaying its actual cause and what it stands for. Yet, there is no actual "cause" to be honest. You can come and join in anytime, whoever you are, wherever you're from, anyone is WELCOME. AND if you're someone who's creative and consistent, then you surely will receive the support you deserve, whether it be anything related to Hive or real life.
I could go on for hours writing about this wholesome community.
There's a lot of effort behind the scenes, many deeds and activities that go unseen
Deeds that deserve nothing but praise. Yet, I believe, some things are better left unsaid.
The progress I've made on PeakD/Hive has been quite astounding so far and A LOT of the credit truly goes to BDCommunity and its continuous support. My plan certainly is long-term when it to comes to being a part of Hive and the BDCommunity. The ride has been amazing so far. Yet, a long way to go still, lot more distance to cover haha.
